SOAR's Russia/Abkhazia Regional Mobilizer Fund is used to cover the operational costs of the Regional Mobilizer. SOAR missionary Ruslan Mahotkin will use these funds in his role as the Regional Mobilizer to travel, network, and coordinate various projects to assist the local churches as they reach their own people for Christ.

Based in Chaplygin, Russia, Ruslan will travel throughout Russia and Abkhazia to encourage the local church and reach the lost. These funds will empower Ruslan to grow SOAR’s ministry in these nations and build relationships with local ministers of the Gospel.

Our partners at Bridge of Hope Ministries sent word about their Bible camps:

"Last week, we finished our last kids’ camp in Moloda. We had four camps in total—three in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, and one in Moldova. Altogether, we reached about 300 children.

We had a wonderful time with games, activities, and Bible lessons. It was a great opportunity to spend time with the children, build relationships with them, and share God’s Word. We are very thankful for everyone who helped make these camps possible, and we pray that the seeds planted in the hearts of these children will continue to grow.

They ministered mostly to refugees from Kherson, Ukraine where Oti Namesnic brings aid regularly. This represents continuing outreach to children previously touched by Baskets of Hope and Stuff A Stocking.

Since 1998, SOAR International Ministries has been serving believers in Russia and the surrounding nations to reach their own people for Christ. This is only possible due to the faithful support of the Body of Christ empowered by the Spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped support the Child-Friendly Outhouse project for the church in the small village of Crasnosheny (Crăsnășeni), Moldova. Our partners from Voice of Truth Church took the money to them while also adding support from their church.

Our partners helped them and took some photos of the work. You can see our partner Pastor Vitaly standing next Pastor Vitalik from the small village. Everyone is incredibly grateful for the project and look forward to seeing us again next Christmas!

Please pray for the ongoing summer Bible camps our ministry partners are hosting in Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, and Abkhazia. We are grateful for what God is already doing and ask for your continued prayers for each of these ministries.

Moldova:
SOAR partner Voice of Truth Church is hosting a summer Bible camp from July 13–18. We thank God that more than 100 children are attending, many of whom come from non-Christian families.

Abkhazia:
The team recently completed a wonderful camp with 40 participants. Throughout the camp, the children worked through a series of interactive "quests" that ultimately pointed them to their need for Jesus Christ as the only way to heaven.

Ukraine:
Our partners at Bridge of Hope Ministries are hosting several summer Bible camps throughout July, with the final camp taking place this week. These camps have welcomed children from the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine, including children from an orphanage as well as refugee families.

Russia:
SOAR partner Pastor Anatoly in Ryazan continues to faithfully serve alongside his congregation as they minister to the region's children and youth. Their ongoing day Bible camp will continue through mid-August.

Pray that these children will experience God's love, find hope in Christ, and be encouraged despite the challenges they have faced.

We have received an update from our partners Roma and Alona in Abkhazia that we wanted to share. They continue to faithfully persevere in ministry to youth and low-income families despite health issues.

Pastor Roma needs our prayers and encouragement. He continues to have severe eye issues despite several surgeries and now can’t see out of one of his eyes.

This summer, Bible camps in Russia, Abkhazia, Moldova, and Ukraine will provide children and teens with a safe and welcoming place to learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they will experience the love, hope, and truth found in Him.

In July, Bridge of Hope Ministries will partner with Pastor Dan in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, to host three Bible camps for children and teenagers. Many of the campers are refugees from Kherson, Ukraine, whose lives have been deeply impacted by the ongoing war.
