We have received an update from our partners Roma and Alona in Abkhazia that we wanted to share. They continue to faithfully persevere in ministry to youth and low-income families despite health issues.

Pastor Roma needs our prayers and encouragement. He continues to have severe eye issues despite several surgeries and now can’t see out of one of his eyes.

This summer, Bible camps in Russia, Abkhazia, Moldova, and Ukraine will provide children and teens with a safe and welcoming place to learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they will experience the love, hope, and truth found in Him.

In July, Bridge of Hope Ministries will partner with Pastor Dan in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, to host three Bible camps for children and teenagers. Many of the campers are refugees from Kherson, Ukraine, whose lives have been deeply impacted by the ongoing war.

Thank you to everyone who helped fully fund the Child-Friendly Outhouse Project. During our Baskets of Hope distribution, we shared baskets at a church in the small village of Crasnosheny (Crăsnășeni), Moldova. The church had just begun building an outhouse for the children and congregation to use when they ran out of funding.

Thank you for standing with this pastor and our Moldovan brothers and sisters in Christ.

The Abkhazia Youth Conference is taking place right now until the 30th. The theme of the conference is 'Renewal'. Our partners in Abkhazia have sent us some prayer requests:

"Please pray for safety in traveling. At our youth conference many will be traveling from all over the country.
Pray for the speakers.
Pray for open hearts and minds to receive from the Lord.
Pray for a wonderful time of fellowship, praise, prayer and of course, fun.
Most of all, pray for our youth to be in a closer relationship with Jesus - that they will grow in their faith."

SOAR is excited for the Abkhazia Youth Conference taking place on April 28-30. We are excited to see what God is going to do in the lives of the nearly 100 youths attending this event. We praise God for our faithful partners hosting this event and their heart for the next generation.

Please pray for these youth as they receive the Word of God and enjoy Christian fellowship.

Please pray for the ongoing Baskets of Hope distributions taking place in Russia. We praise God for incredible partners who faithfully minister to these children year after year through Baskets of Hope.

The SOAR outreach team has safely returned from an amazing Baskets of Hope distribution in Moldova and Ukraine. We praise God for the hundreds of children who have heard the Gospel message and now have their very own Bible. A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored a Basket of Hope or came alongside us in prayer.

This youtube video was from the children’s Easter service at the church Wendell, Jim & Kathy and Oti brought letters and backpacks to in Ukraine. Wendell said "it was packed, we planned for 120 and 160 came." However, no child missed out and all received a Basket of Hope with a Bible. Praise God!
