This year has been eventful for our TAAG Travelers. Steve and Wendy have visited the London Bridge in Lake Havasu, AZ, Historic Route 66, and Needles, CA, and have kept us in the loop throughout their journey. 82 years ago today, on June 6, 1944, the largest land, water and air invasion in history took place. Codenamed Operation Overlord, Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy in a pivotal moment that helped turn the tide of World War II. Their courage and determination opened the path to liberating Europe and pushed back the advance of N**i Germany.
Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything in service to freedom. Their sacrifice, valor, and unwavering commitment will never be forgotten.

About three years ago, we had the honor of meeting at the time, a 92-year-old Navy “Seabee” Veteran, Joseph Lorrigan. Over the last few years, through the support of his daughter-in-law, Marcia, we have established a very close relationship with Joe.
During the winter, Joe’s scooter that he uses to get around, quit working on him. Due to the weather at the time, it was not needed as much. But now that the weather is much nicer, we decided to surprise Joe, with a brand new scooter for his birthday. This coming Saturday, June 6, Joe turns 95 and we are asking everyone for their help in making Joe’s birthday very special by sending him 95 Happy Birthday wishes in the comments below. 🎁🎂🎈🥳

We will be seeing Joe and his family on his birthday and we will be sharing with him, all your love and support. Thank you to everyone who supports our cause, you are the reason we are able to deliver even the smallest of blessings. 🇺🇸❤️
