Need voting resources? Texas PTA has you covered!

As PTA leaders, we know how important it is to speak up for Texas students and families. This election season, let’s carry that spirit into the voting booth!

Make a plan, remind a friend or family member about the upcoming election, and share your moment with us by sharing a selfie photo with your PTA Votes shirt or “I Voted” sticker in the comments. 📸

📅 Early voting ends: October 30
📅 Election Day: November 3

For voting resources, visit txpta.org/pta-votes.

Early voting is still open this week (through Friday October 30!) and Election Day is Tuesday November 3. Make your voice heard!

Also, we found out why the chicken crossed the road. It was to vote!

You absolutely CRUSHED our kindness fundraiser, Jags! Over $10,000 was raised and we are so excited for what comes next. Get ready to get hydrated.

10/05/2026

Welcome to October, Jags! We’ve got a little extra pep in our steps today and it’s not even just because it’s so dadgum beautiful outside for once! Spirit wear was delivered this morning, our Kindness Fundraiser is just about at the halfway point and almost to 40% of our goal, and this weekend is fall break! Sounds like an orange crush to us.

Helloooooo jags! We’re totally having a Fri-YAY and hope you are, too! Our spirit wear has arrived and will be heading home with students on Monday. Our Kindness Fundraiser is going strong. We love seeing kids snuggled in their cookie blankets! We’ve raised about 1/3 of our goal which means at least one water bottle filler is already FULLY FUNDED! Let’s keep up amazing work. We’re working on a fun prize for the top raiser for each grade so stay tuned for that. This community is special so thanks for helping us hydrate it!

One of the coolest things about kindness is how far it spreads. Let’s see how many states we can spread our kindness to!

09/29/2026

Our Kindness Fundraiser is off to a great start!!! Get ready to snuggle up in those cookie blankets, Jags! It’s not too late to get in on the action. 10 asks can go a long way and help us hydrate our campus!

Happy Monday, Jags! Today is jam packed with AMAZING stuff.

First, our Kindness Fundraiser kicks off TODAY! Students will see a video at class and receive an information sheet to bring home. Complete that tonight, bring it back tomorrow, and receive your cozy cookie blanket. The evening temps are forecast for the 50's this weekend, so you're gonna want that for the snuggling.

Secondly, we love food and today is a way to eat food AND support our school. Its SPIRIT DAY at Portillo's. Show this flyer with dine in or delivery and we receive 20%.

Let's make these water bottle fillers happen for our jags!

09/21/2026

Happy Earth, Wind, and Fire Day, Jags! I hope you can all pause from remembering the 21st night of September to get excited with us because we are rolling out our very first campus wide fundraiser in maybe a bagillion years. ONE WEEK FROM TODAY, we kick off our kindness fundraiser. The work is simple, the prizes are awesome, the impact is real, and the goal is WATER BOTTLE FILLING STATIONS!!! All of the funds we raise will go towards the installation of water bottle filling stations on campus. Our goal is 3, and since we know how amazing our jaguar community is, we will obviously crush that. So let's get ready to do some acts of kindness and raise money to make our Jaguars more hydrated!
