Elevate your child’s voice and potential at a Public Speaking and Literary workshop, hosted by the nationally recognized organizations Chapters of Change and The Voices Initiative.
Held at Cinco Ranch Library on July 7th and 8th from 2-4 PM, this two-day fundraising event is also designed to refine eloquence, sharpen writing, and cultivate leadership through speech and writing. In September of last year, the Chapters of Change mobile library visited 4 schools in rural areas of Mindanao as part of its pilot program. This initial phase allowed us to test our routing and demonstrate the feasibility of the concept. Throughout the process, we adjusted our operating procedures as needed. The feedback we received from children, teachers, principals, and local officials was overwhelmingly positive.
Since then, we've expanded our reach to include 6 additional schools, bringing the total number of schools benefiting from our mobile library to ten schools - servicing and sparking a joy for reading to 2,000 children per week!
