We are so grateful for the businesses and community partners who invite our rescue to participate in their events and help our adoptable dogs meet potential forever families!

📣 IMPORTANT EVENT SCHEDULING INFORMATION:

🐾 Saturdays are our primary adoption event days! Our dedicated rescue team and foster families work full-time jobs during the week, so we are unable to commit to weekday events.

🐾 Some Sundays may also be available, depending on our team’s schedules.

🐾 We kindly request at least 2–3 weeks’ advance notice to coordinate our foster families, volunteers, and adoptable dogs before committing to an event.

Our rescue team works incredibly hard balancing careers, families, and the many dogs depending on us. Planning ahead allows us to give each event the attention and support it deserves! 🩵

💙🐾 IT’S FINALLY ARTHUR’S TURN! HE’S ADOPTED! 🐾💙

For months, Arthur watched other foster dogs come and go.

He welcomed new friends into his foster home, played with them, helped them feel comfortable, and then watched as they left for their forever families.

One by one, they got their happy endings.

And Arthur? He patiently waited for his turn. 🥹

Today, we are overjoyed to announce that ARTHUR HAS BEEN ADOPTED! 🎉🏡

If you’ve followed Arthur’s journey, you know this sweet boy came to Belle’s Buds Rescue from a heartbreaking hoarding situation in Hockley. His early life was filled with uncertainty, and learning to trust people didn’t happen overnight.

But with patience, love, and the security of a wonderful foster home, Arthur blossomed into the gentle, playful, dog-loving little guy we all adore. 💛

And then something wonderful happened…

A family learned about Arthur and his story, and they fell completely in love. They couldn’t wait to meet him because they knew they wanted to give this deserving boy the loving home he had always needed.

And now Arthur has EVERYTHING we hoped for! ❤️

🐾 A forever family who absolutely adores him!

🐾 A forever dog brother to play with!

🐾 His very own yard to sniff, explore, and enjoy!

🐾 A sunny spot where he can stretch out and soak up the sunshine!

🐾 And most importantly, a home where he will never have to wonder if he belongs.

Arthur, the little guy who once struggled to trust, now has a whole lifetime of love and adventures ahead of him.

A HUGE thank you to Jennifer and the entire Bellanger family! 💐

The Bellangers opened their home and hearts to Arthur, giving him the time, patience, and encouragement he needed to become the happy dog he is today.

They were the bridge between being abandoned and being HOME. 🌈

And while Arthur watched so many foster siblings find their families, the Bellangers made sure he never stopped feeling loved while waiting for his own.

This is why fostering matters. Every dog deserves someone willing to be their bridge to a better life.

🐾💔 SHE WAS PROMISED A RESCUE… BUT THAT RESCUE NEVER CAME. 💔🐾

Meet PRALINE, a breathtaking German Shepherd girl who deserves so much better than being left behind. 🩵

Praline was at Waller County Animal Control when another local German Shepherd rescue placed a hold on her, indicating they would take her into their care.

But sadly, that rescue never followed through on its commitment. Praline was left without the rescue placement she was supposed to have.

And that’s where Belle’s Buds Rescue stepped in. 🩵

Our rescue is already stretched thin. We have numerous dogs living in temporary foster homes who desperately need committed fosters. Our dedicated volunteers and fosters are doing everything they can to help the dogs already in our care.

But how could we turn our backs on Praline?

Thankfully, our wonderful temporary foster Lisa stepped up to give this beautiful girl a safe place to land.

And now that we’re getting to know Praline, we can tell you that she is an absolute GEM! 💎

🐾 MEET PRALINE! 🐾

🩵 German Shepherd female, approximately 1–1½ years old

🩵 Spayed and vaccinated

🩵 Heartworm NEGATIVE!

🩵 Wonderful with other dogs

🩵 Walks beautifully on a leash

🩵 Already knows some basic obedience and manners

🩵 Cat compatibility is currently being evaluated by Lisa

And can we talk about those magnificent ears and gorgeous German Shepherd markings?! 😍🐕

PRALINE NEEDS A COMMITTED FOSTER OR FOREVER FAMILY!

We are incredibly grateful for our temporary fosters, but temporary means temporary. These amazing people help us save lives when there is nowhere else for a dog to go. Without committed foster families stepping forward, our ability to continue helping dogs like Praline becomes extremely limited.

Praline has already experienced the disappointment of a rescue commitment that wasn’t honored.

Let’s make sure the next promise made to this beautiful girl is one that’s kept. 🩵

We’re getting everything ready for Pups & Polo and wanted to give you a little sneak peek at what’s coming together for tomorrow’s special day!

From our traditional sunflower touches, beautiful décor from a local small business florist, custom cookies by Just a Cookie & Some Crumbles in Brookshire, hydration sponsor water bottles, silent auction baskets, dog houses, merch, and even our Best Dressed sashes… so much love has gone into every detail. 💛

And of course, the best part… the pups!

Joining us tomorrow will be Lolly, Whitman, and Brioche — all available for adoption and attending with their fosters:

Meet Brioche, one of our Baker’s Dozen puppies! At just 12 weeks old, this gorgeous Hound mix is growing into one amazing little girl who looks so much like her beautiful mama, Clementine! 🥹

Brioche has never met a stranger! She absolutely LOVES meeting new people, playing with toys, and making friends with other dogs. And don’t let her size fool you — she has no problem keeping up with dogs MUCH bigger than she is! 😂

Some dogs just have a way of making everyone around them feel loved. And then there’s DANTE! 🥹❤️

This handsome 2-year-old Staffordshire Terrier has one very important mission in life: TO GIVE LOVE! 💕

His temporary foster mom, Danika, describes him as “your best buddy,” and it’s easy to see why!

Dante absolutely ADORES the young children in his foster home. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of the family, sharing affection, making memories, and being everyone’s favorite companion.

And the best part? Dante has wonderful manners to go along with that big, loving heart!

These are the final 3 puppies of the Baker Dozen litter and they are ready to find their forever families. At just 12 weeks old, they are up-to-date on vaccinations and being loved in foster homes thanks to Dora, Tammy, and Jennifer. 🩵

Sometimes they come to meet one puppy… and leave knowing another was meant to be theirs. 🩷🐾

We are so excited to announce that Vester is ADOPTED! 🎉

Her new family originally came to meet another puppy, but fate had other plans. When Vester came back into the room after her vet visit, she walked right over to them — and something just clicked.

Her new family shared that there was a look in her eyes that completely melted their hearts. She reminded them so much of their beloved pup Allie, who passed away in August. 🥹

And according to her foster, Lisa, it truly was love at first sight — for the family and for Vester.

That is the kind of moment rescue is all about. Sometimes the dog you think you’re coming to meet is not the one who ends up choosing you. 💕

A huge thank-you to Lisa for fostering Vester, loving her, and helping her get to this beautiful next chapter.
