Our Lake House campers had a unique opportunity this week to hear from Spacesuit Engineer Jay Modi during Mad Science NASA Camp.

Campers learned about the work that goes into designing spacesuits, explored the challenges engineers solve to support astronauts, and had the chance to ask questions about careers in STEM and space exploration.

Thank you to Mad Science and Jay Modi for bringing this experience to our campers and helping make science come alive in such an engaging way. 🚀

Summer is coming up fast and Lake House Art Camps still have spots open!

If your child loves to draw, paint, sketch, anime, cartoons, animals, or anything creative, this is such a fun way to keep them busy and creating over summer break.

These 4-day camps are for ages 6–17 and include hands-on art projects throughout the week with half-day and full-day options available.

🎨 Camp Dates:
• May 26–29
• June 15, 16, 18 & 19

It’s a great mix of creativity, learning, and fun — especially for kids who are always doodling, crafting, or asking to paint at home.

Finally… a place for that random drawer 😅

You know the one full of old cords, mystery chargers, dead phones, remote controls, and electronics you swore you’d deal with later.

Bring it all to the E-Recycle Drive tomorrow and clear some space without the hassle. If it has a cord or battery, chances are we’ll take it (just skip kitchen appliances). Hard drives will also be wiped.

Quick stop. Easy clean-out. Done. ♻️
