Fun-Fair-Positive Soccer (FFPS) Fun, Fair, Positive Soccer is a non-profit league for kids ages 4–18, including those with special needs.

Since 1986, FFPS has offered 5-a-side soccer, equal play, balanced teams, and positive coaching, “Made for the Kids,” at 20+ Houston area locations. Fun, Fair, Positive Soccer (FFPS) is a non-profit youth soccer program dedicated to providing a positive youth sports experience for boys and girls ages 4 – 18. Founded in 1986 in Katy, Texas, FFPS has grown to 22 leagues and 16,000 players throughout the Greater Houston area. FFPS guarantees equal playing time, playing all positions, and balanced teams with positive coaching. No tryouts are required and special needs players are included on regular teams.

Today is an incredibly special day for our family as we celebrate Opening Day of the 81st season of Fun Fair Positive Soccer (FFPS)!

Forty years ago, in 1986, my dad, Jack Hendrie, founded FFPS with a vision to create a youth soccer organization where EVERY child would have the opportunity to play, learn, grow, build confidence, and experience the joy of soccer in a fun, fair, and positive environment.

What started as one man’s vision has grown into an organization that has positively impacted thousands of children and families throughout the Greater Houston area over the past four decades. ♥️

As his daughter, I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the extraordinary amount of dedication, sacrifice, determination, and heart my dad has poured into this organization.

Through the years, there have been challenges, obstacles, countless long hours, and sacrifices that most people will never see. But one thing has never changed: his passion for the children and his commitment to the mission he started 40 years ago.

Now, having the opportunity to work alongside my dad and contribute to the organization he built means more to me than words can express. It’s not just a job. It’s our family’s legacy, and I’m incredibly proud to be a part of it.

Dad, I admire your strength, perseverance, leadership, and the incredible impact you have had on so many lives. You have dedicated 40 years to giving children opportunities, creating memories, and making a difference in our communities.

Your legacy isn’t just measured in years or seasons. It’s measured in the countless lives you have touched along the way. 🥹♥️

I’m so proud to be your daughter, and even prouder to stand beside you as we celebrate another milestone in FFPS history.
