Personally, we were thinking Trout would be a perfect name. 😁

One of my personal favorite parts of the Trout Fest is the Scotville Clown Band. These guys and gals have SO much talent! It's always a pleasure to have them take part in the parade AND perform at Railroad Square immediately following!

Hats off to the Kalkaska Conservation District for their repeat, or is it three-peat, victory as Best Non-Commercial entry! They always do a great job of using the yearly theme.

Congratulations to our double-fisted winners in this year's Parade, McLean's Hardware! They took the juidges' choice for Best Commercial Entry AND our Grand Marshals chose McLean's for their award, too!

Congratulations go out to the Kalkaska Cheerleading Club! Their name was pulled from our Non-profit Raffle and the National Trout Festival is happy to award them a check for $500! We know when the time comes for new uniforms and other equipment, that money can really help!
If your Kalkaska non-profit wants to be in the drawing next year, enter the parade, decorate it up, and maybe your group will be the lucky one.

People of the Trout!
We have some found items that need their owners. Currently, they are located at the Trout House (log cabin) on the Fairgrounds. They believe they'll be open until 7 (same with the carnival) but you may call Diana at 231-384-1509. You will need to describe the item.
