🌲Marshall's service area covers 3 counties: Kalkaska, Wexford (Wexford Conservation Districtt), & Missaukee (Missaukee Conservation District). 🌳

WOOD you like an exemption on certain taxes?​

Don't forget to enroll your private forestland in MDARD's Qualified Forest Program. Application materials must be submitted by September 1, 2026 for the 2027 tax year.​

🇺🇸🌳 In honor of Memorial Day, the Kalkaska Conservation District office will be closed on Monday, May 25th, so our team can spend time with their families and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, May 26th.

🌲Our office will be very quiet this week as the team is gearing up for our Annual Tree Sale. If you need to reach us, you may call or text 231-564-9055 or 231-564-9300. We will reopen for regular business April 27 at 9:00.

🌳 If you have ordered trees (or want to pop in to see what inventory we still have available), they will be ready for pick-up at the Kalkaska County Road Commission, 1049 Island Lake Rd., on Friday, April 24 from 12pm - 6pm, or Saturday, April 25 from 10am to Noon.
