🌟🌟🌟 Baby Pantry Update 🌟🌟🌟
Hello Everyone! I’ve made some changes to the hours at the Baby Pantry hoping that it will be able to reach more people. I’ve been debating on doing this for sometime now trying to work out what’s working and what’s not and who I have been able to reach and who I haven’t.
I’ve tried to have one set day and then be available when I can in between.
Right now it seems that being open once a month isn’t reaching a lot of people and I totally get it. I also don’t have a lot of time to be open more weekends.
There has been a lot of life changes this year for myself and my family and I am now working at the church 3 days a week. I have decided that since I am there 3 times a week now, that instead of being open one Saturday a month, I will be available to meet anyone on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during this school year from 9:30-9:50am as I start work at 10am and then Monday, Wednesday, Friday between 3:15-3:45/4 after I get out of work. This will be by appointment only though as I need to know if anyone wants to meet up so I can leave my house earlier and also stay later instead of leaving right after work. All you have to do is message me and let me know that you pIan on stopping by. I can work with times some so if these hours don’t exactly work for you, let me know. We can figure something out.
Also as I’m saying this, if we schedule a time to meet up, please be courteous and be there when you say you are going to be. I get a couple minutes late, sometimes things happen, but my time is important as well. I hate to even bring this up, but I’ve made special appointments and people haven’t shown up. So please, if we set up a time to meet, please make sure that you are there.
As always, this pantry is set up to help anyone from any county. You do not have to live in Kalkaska county to come. If you are in need, you are welcome and I will help you out the best I can. If you need something (snow pants for example) for your kids and I don’t have them, I will put out an announcement.
Fruit of the Womb is intended to help be part of your village. From one Mama to another. Times will always be hard and you are not alone.
Jesus loves you, Mama and your babies too. Here at the pantry we try our best to be the hands and feet of Jesus and I pray that you feel His love wrap around you and know without a doubt just how much He cares for you and your family!
Merry Christmas!
Love,
Brooke 💖
