Parkview Hills Willow Lake Clubhouse

Parkview Hills Willow Lake Clubhouse Willow Lake Clubhouse is open to all residents of The Parkview Hills Community. Dr. H. Lewis Batts, Jr.

Parkview Hills is dedicated to giving its residents the perfect blend of city and country living. and Burton Upjohn, who planned and built Parkview, left 100 acres of their development purposely undeveloped so residents could enjoy walking in the woods, bird watching, and much more. Here you can experience the pleasures of the natural world just by stepping outside your door. At the same time, you

have the amenities of a private club, and the joy of owning or renting in one of Kalamazoo's most desirable areas, just minutes from downtown, WMU, Kalamazoo College, KVCC, I-94, and 131.

*The indoor pool is closed*
Someone vomited in the pool on Sunday. We had to close the indoor pool and follow the protocol for cleaning the pool. The bromine level was raised to the required level. The water was allowed to cycle through the filters several times. We have added water, vacuumed, and backwashed daily as required. We will re-open the indoor pool once the water is clear and the bromine level is at an acceptable level for swimming.
We would like to thank the person that reported the incident.
Please remember to shower before entering the pool or spa. A quick rinse off helps remove the natural oils, dead skins cells, sweat, and other products like lotions from your skin. All of these substances collect in the pool and spa water causing the water to get cloudy.
If we cannot see the main drains on the bottom in the deep end, we will be required to close the pool until the water clears. Let’s work together to keep our pool clean and open for use.

*Hydrant flushing on Saturday, 4/18*
The City of Kalamazoo will be flushing the fire hydrants Saturday, April 18 between the hours of 7am to 3:30pm or 10pm to 5:30am. We would like to remind everyone of the following:
The water will be brown.
Please run your faucets and flush your toilets to flush the brown water out of your pipes.
The City of Kalamazoo recommends that you do not do laundry for 24 hours after the flushing has occurred to avoid ruining your clothing.
