Hey garden members! We're going to start stripping the beds and preparing them for fall, but we'll leave any obvious fall crops for a few more weeks. If you have anything in your bed that you'd like to keep, this weekend will probably be the best time to stop by and grab it. Thanks for the great summer!

Phase one of the garden recovery program has been completed. The majority of the summers w**ds in the walkways have been removed but we need some help with the rest. Many beds have plants that have grown out into the walkways and we don't want to whack them with the w**d whip. If you would be willing to participate in a team garden work day please let us know when would work best for you and we will try to schedule a day when the most people would be able to attend. We have also replaced the faulty water hose, so there is now water on site again!

Are you in the Vine neighborhood and considering reserving a plot? Space is limited and there are only three plots left for the 2014 growing season. It's already turning out to be a busy year!

Gardeners! Did the warmer weather today get you thinking about spring? We're starting seeds and making plans at the DACG. This year will see the construction of a 200+ square foot Monarch Waystation as well as the addition of DUCKS to the hen house. Interested in joining? There are only 8 beds left so call today to reserve a plot. The $30 fee covers the cost of water and access to tools and other materials for the entire growing season.
