Maui Cat Rescue Maui Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization facilitating adoptions of homeless cats Hawaii's animals shelters are overburdened, in particular with cats.

Maui Cat Rescue's mission is to facilitate adoptions of homeless cats on Maui and limit overpopulation. Maui Cat Rescue will foster cats, provide them with high level care, and facilitate adoptions through its cat cafe socializing and adoption program, through collaboration with other shelters in spay and neuter programs, and through educational programs and activities at our space in the Kahului/

Wailuku area of Maui, Hawaii. Cats that cannot be cared for are euthanized. Maui Cat Rescue assists the shelters by providing a new channel for adoptions and fostering through its cat cafe, a warm and inviting space where guests can come to spend time with cats, relax and rejuvenate and potentially adopt. The cat cafe also hosts and provides educational programs and activities for the public.

🐾✈️ Help This Rescue Kitten Get Home! ✈️🐾

This little kitten was found trapped inside a wall and rescued just in time. He was later adopted by a travel nurse as a Mother's Day surprise for his wife, and they instantly fell in love.

When their Hawaii contract unexpectedly came to an end, they faced a heartbreaking possibility: leaving him behind.

Thanks to the kindness of two amazing Flight Angels, Marsha and Carol, we now have a route from Hawaii to Portland and then on to Kentucky! ❤️

Now we need your help covering the transportation costs so this special kitten can make it to his forever family.

🐱💛 Maui Friends — kitten season is here, and we need your help.

We’re looking for helping hands who want to learn how to foster bottle baby kittens and make a real impact this season.

We’re hosting a hands-on Bottle Baby Care & Weaning Workshop with Maui Humane Society — no experience needed. We’ll guide you through everything.

✨ You’ll learn:

• How to care for newborn kittens

• Bottle feeding + weaning basics

• How to confidently foster at home

You may even have the option to take kittens home to foster after the workshop (optional).
