Join us for Senior Scholarship Night on Wednesday, February 11th to learn about the Common Scholarship Application—one application that identifies every award you are eligible for!

🌟 Silversword Scholarship: $7,500
🌟 Opportunity Scholarship: $7,500 (renewable)

MHSF 2024 Scholar Spotlight: Meet Emi! 🌟

My name is Emi Sado. I am currently attending California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in San Luis Obispo, California as a Construction Management Major. Throughout my high school career I have been encouraged to look outside I’m the box when it comes to all aspects of my education. Recently my senior project with the Maui High School Foundation completed its first phase. Seeing the ramp, deck, and stairs that I had one year ago been designing manually on paper and on CAD has been a gratifying moment for me and has cemented my interest in the path that my college has allowed me to continue. The Maui High School Foundation has impacted my education thus far allowing me to continue learning and growing with my passion for constructing. I hope to one day be home, constructing a better future for those around my community.

MHSF 2024 Scholar Spotlight: Meet Alexandra! 🌟

Hi, my name is Alexandra! I am currently at Oregon State University majoring in Animal Science. I’m a member of the Honors College and the Pre-Veterinary Scholars program at Oregon State University. The Maui High School Foundation scholarship has allowed me to worry less about affording my postsecondary education and focus on taking advantage of all that my university has to offer me. I’ve been able to learn and grow so much in university thanks to the Maui High School Foundation Scholarship. I’m endlessly thankful to them for such an opportunity.

Grant Spotlight! 🌟 This past summer, MHSF helped sponsor a Maui High Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) team in their participation at the 2024 International Leadership Conference in Houston, Texas.

Maui High’s team of Ciana Cooper, Chloe Garcia, and Caitlin Antonio earned an impressive 3rd place for their impactful project aimed at raising awareness about low self-esteem. This initiative reached over 600 students, equipping them with tools to promote self-confidence and mental wellness.

Their success was made possible with the generous support of the Maui High Foundation, which helped offset travel and registration costs. 🙌
