A load leg limits forward rotation in a frontal crash by transferring crash energy down to the vehicle floor. If your car seat has a load leg, check your vehicle manual to ensure the vehicle allows its use. Next, check the car seat manual for instructions on installing your car seat using the load leg. Graco has issued a voluntary recall for select SnugRide Turn & Slide models made Jan–Mar 2026 due to a structural issue found in post‑production testing.

This does NOT affect the EasyTurn, Turn2Me, and all other SnugRide models.

If your model number is listed, stop using the seat with the base immediately. The carrier can still be used without the base while you wait for your free replacement.
