Child Safety Seat Inspection Event

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., the Maui Police Department, in collaboration with the Keiki Injury Prevention Coalition, the Hawaii Department of Transportation, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, will host a child safety seat inspection event within the Kihei Police Station parking lot. The event will provide a free, no-obligation inspection of child safety seats, ensuring they are installed correctly and functioning properly to keep children safe in the event of a crash.
