Maui United Way is proud to partner with Lānaʻi Kināʻole, an organization dedicated to providing compassionate home health and caregiving services for the Lānaʻi community. Through their commitment to dignity-centered care, kūpuna and families are able to receive vital support while remaining in the comfort of home and surrounded by loved ones.

Organizations like Lānaʻi Kināʻole help strengthen the health and resiliency of our Maui Nui communities, and we’re grateful to support the important work they do every day.

Youth social service providers from across Maui came together thanks to The Sentry Mālama Nā Keiki’s program. Through Ho’akā Mana’s in-person Nurture & Navigate program to deepen their practice in mauli ola through oli, culture and connection.

Participants included: Maui Youth and Family Services, Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui, Inc., Maui Economic Opportunity, Inc., Big Brothers Big Sisters of Maui, YouthLine Hawai‘i, Hawai‘i FASD Action Group and others built meaningful pilina across organizations. ʻIke and cultural practices strengthen our collective ability to care for the keiki of our islands, especially in West Maui.

Through Sentry Mālama Nā Keiki, Maui United Way invests in the people behind the work by supporting positions within these organizations and creating space for connection, healing, and shared growth. This work is about sustaining those who serve so they can continue to show up for our youth with strength, intention and care. When we mālama our providers, we mālama our keiki.
