We meet at the Methodist Church on Main in Pleasanton.
Our mission is to serve the foster and adoptive youth in our community as well as the families caring for them.

UPDATE: Thank you to our amazing community for raising awareness and supporting your Atascosa County Child Welfare Board! Transparency, collaboration and education are keys to success and you all joined without hesitation! The children and families of this community are really fortunate to have businesses that are willing to bring light and awareness to efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect. KUDOS!!!

Thank you to all businesses who participated in the Child Welfare Boards, Child Abuse Prevention Month efforts to raise awareness about how every single one of us can do our part to keep children safe. If you see our blue pinwheel flower pots around town, please scan the QR code for local resources on how you can get involved, how you can get educated and how you can become part of our local groups who strive for what’s best for the children and families of Atascosa County.

Atascosa County members joined today 4/9/26 to recite the annual proclamation to raise awareness around child abuse prevention month. We will continue to enrich partnerships that support our efforts to serve children and families involved in Child welfare systems.
