Have you ever caught yourself saying, “If only…”?

If only I had a little more money. If only things were different. If only I could get through this season of life.

We often find ourselves looking toward better circumstances to find contentment. But what if true contentment isn’t found in our circumstances at all?

Tomorrow, we’ll be wrapping up our series Walking Together in Joy as we look at Philippians 4:10–23 and discover what it means to find Contentment in Every Season.

No matter what season of life you find yourself in, Christ is enough!

We’re looking forward to worshiping together this Sunday at First Baptist Church of Jourdanton!

Tomorrow, we’ll be continuing our study through Philippians as we look at Philippians 4:2–9.

What’s taking up space in your mind?

Whether it’s conflict, anxiety, worry, or just the busyness of life, we all have things that compete for our attention. But have you ever stopped to think about how much those things influence the way we live?

In this passage, Paul reminds us to deal with conflict, bring our anxieties to God in prayer, and trust in the peace that only He can give. But it’s not just about removing the things that trouble our minds. It’s also about filling that space with what is good, true, and pleasing to God.

We’re looking forward to worshiping together tomorrow at First Baptist Church of Jourdanton!

Join us at 11:00 AM as we continue walking through Philippians. Tomorrow we’ll be in Philippians 3:12–21 — “Pressing Toward the Goal.”

Paul reminds us that no matter how far we’ve come in our walk with Christ, we haven’t arrived yet. We keep pressing forward, growing in Him, and remembering where our true citizenship is.

And don’t forget about our brisket plate sale from 12:00–2:00 PM! If you have a ticket, make sure to come by and grab your plate. We’re thankful for everyone who has helped make it possible, and we’re looking forward to a great day together!

Church Family, due to the weather, we WILL have Sunday morning service at 11 AM, but there will be no Sunday School this week.

Your safety is our priority. If the roads or walkways around your home are icy, please stay home. We don’t want anyone slipping or getting hurt trying to get to church. If you can travel safely, we will gather in person.
