Happy Adoption Day to Annie! ❤️🎉

Three month old Annie was orphaned after her mother passed away. Annie was then surrendered to us and was in need of care.

After two vet visits, all the food she could eat and lots of love from our staff and volunteer team, little Annie is now thriving! 🥰

She arrived at her forever home today and immediately started joyfully playing in her new pasture!

We are so thrilled for this special little girl and her new family!

Meet two gentle Percheron beauties that will warm your heart!

Sarah and Clara arrived at the ranch three months ago, rescued from a bad situation. They were underweight, malnourished and their feet were in very poor condition. They were lethargic and despondent.

Upon arrival, Sarah and Clara were immediately put on our re-feeding program and have had multiple vet and farrier visits to regain their health.

Now their spirits are lifted, their eyes are bright, and their coats are glistening! 🥰

Favorites among our volunteers and visitors at the ranch, these two special mares are a bonded pair and are seeking a new forever home together! ❤️❤️

Celebrating both Adopt a Horse Month and Star Wars Month today with a very special adoption! 🧡✨🎉

Congratulations to Princess Leia! This adorable girl has found her forever home and will be herd mates with HSNT rescue horse, Obi-Wan!

It was one year ago when Obi and Leia arrived at the ranch from a galaxy far, far away.

They were from different cruelty cases, but arrived at the ranch within a week of each other and were neighbors for a while during their stay with us. They both have come so far and we are thrilled for them to have found such an amazing, loving home! 🥰❤️

Throughout this special month, we will be shining a spotlight on the stories of our longest residents that are seeking their forever homes 🥰

First up is Tahoe! ❤️ If you are looking for a new best friend to spend your days with, this special guy is the one. Tahoe is a 28 year old gelding who was in a foster program in New York before being transferred to the ranch. He has been through a lot of change in his life and can’t wait to have his forever home where he can enjoy peaceful twilight years!

There has never been a more relaxed horse in the world than Tahoe when it comes to horsemanship time with people. His favorite past time is being groomed and he always wants to be the center of attention! He is beloved by all who meet him.

Obi Wan was rescued in May 2025 from an extreme cruelty case and came to the Humane Society of North Texas Equine Ranch in need of healing and a second chance. Today, he’s living the life he deserves. 🐴

It was a fun day doing barn chores, horsemanship, grooming horses, and meeting mammoth donkey Zeb, the HSNT Equine Ranch Ambassador!

We are so grateful for the community support of 𝐇𝐒𝐍𝐓’s mission!

‘Kat of Mine’ is a darling registered Tennessee Walking Horse that warms the hearts of all she meets with her sweet and gentle nature.

Kat was recently surrendered along with her long time best friend, Buddy. The two horses are retired from riding and are seeking a new home together as a bonded pair 💕
