EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!

WE'RE LOOKING FOR COMMUNITY LEADERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

Joshua Youth Sports Association (JYSA) has TWO open positions on our Board of Directors, and we're looking for individuals who are ready to step up and make a difference!

-Vice President
-Communications Director

JYSA is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to providing opportunities for the youth of our community to learn, compete, grow, and develop lifelong skills through sports.

But here's the reality: Organizations like ours don't run themselves. Behind every game, every uniform, every practice, and every memorable season are volunteers who dedicate their personal time to making it all happen.

And we need YOUR help!

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about our community, willing to roll up their sleeves, and ready to be part of something bigger than themselves.

You don't have to be a sports expert, a mathematician, or have any formal training... like at all. What matters most is a willingness to serve, a commitment to our kids, and a desire to help our organization continue to grow and improve.

Serving on the JYSA Board isn't just about attending meetings, making decisions, or working a concession stand. It's about showing up, working alongside other volunteers, solving problems, and helping create experiences that our young athletes will remember for years to come.

Our community is only as strong as the people willing to invest in it.

If you've ever thought about getting more involved, bringing fresh ideas to the table, or giving back to the community that gives so much to our kids, THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY!

Interested in serving? Submit a Board Member Application through our website or reach out to us directly for more information!

If you are interested, but hesitant to commit without knowing how much time you'll have and just want to dip your toes in the pool? Ask about joining one of our sports committee groups to help when you can!

Let's continue building something our community can be proud of!

ONE COMMUNITY. ONE PURPOSE. OUR KIDS.

🏀🏀 Last night, Joshua Youth Sports Association held our Annual Basketball Coaches Meeting, and we had the privilege of welcoming a special guest — Joshua High School Basketball Coach Jacob Dawson!

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to Coach Dawson for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit with our youth coaches, share his knowledge of the game, and provide valuable insight into developing young athletes.

At JYSA, we believe youth sports are about so much more than wins and losses. They're about building character, teaching discipline, developing teamwork, and laying the foundation for the next generation of Joshua Owls... things Coach Dawson explicitly touched on.

We also want to recognize and thank Joshua ISD for its continued support of JYSA! The relationship between our youth sports programs and our local schools is something we are incredibly proud of. When our community works together, our kids are the ones who benefit the most!

And to all of our volunteer coaches — THANK YOU! Your willingness to give your time, energy, and passion to these young athletes is what makes this organization possible.

We couldn't be more excited for the upcoming basketball season! We have a great group of coaches, a community that supports our kids, and a whole lot of young Owls ready to hit the hardwood!

The future of Joshua Basketball starts right here!

GO OWLS!
