As we enter another , we're reminded of the resilience and strength shown by communities impacted by severe storms in recent years.

Throughout past hurricane responses, Rapid Relief Team volunteers have been honored to support first responders, utility crews, emergency personnel, and impacted communities with meals and refreshments during challenging times.

As hurricane season begins, preparedness remains key:

Earlier this month, our NY RRT team was honored to support the FDNY Foundation Search & Rescue Field Medicine Symposium, serving our signature burger meal and refreshments to keep attendees fueled throughout the day.

The symposium brings together military, federal, state, and local first responders from around the world for four days of training, workshops, and shared best practices in field medicine and emergency response.

The Council Bluffs team was honored to serve volunteers at The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall - a traveling tribute that honors our nation’s fallen service members and provides communities the opportunity to reflect, remember, and pay their respects. We are grateful to support those who work tirelessly to keep their memories alive.

Reflecting on last week at National . Standing alongside the families of fallen law enforcement officers was a powerful reminder of the sacrifice carried by so many - not just by the officers we honor, but by the loved ones who carry their legacy forward every single day.

Although we have stood together in remembrance throughout National Police Week 2026, the fallen heroes we honor will never be forgotten.

Today, on the final day of Police Week, RRT volunteers were privileged to serve refreshments to the Honor Guard at the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service at the Capitol, standing alongside those paying tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and lasting legacy of our fallen officers.

6,000 Meals. 10,000 Water Bottles. 3,000 Coffees.

As thousands gathered at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund Candlelight Vigil to honor the lives and sacrifice of fallen officers, Rapid Relief Team volunteers were humbled to stand alongside survivor families, law enforcement, and supporters throughout the evening.

Behind every meal shared and every coffee poured was an opportunity to support those carrying loss, honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and remind families and officers that they are not alone.

RRT is honored to serve those who serve and protect our communities, and to play a small part in such a meaningful tribute.
