Because sometimes supporting families looks like lending a helping hand, creating a little breathing room, and reminding parents that we're in this together. 🫶

☀️💛 Our final week of summer was all about our SENSES! 👀👂👃🖐️👅

We wrapped up our summer learning last week by exploring the 5️⃣ senses and discovering just how amazing our bodies are! We investigated mystery smelly jars, painted while wearing blindfolds, created our own sound shakers, and of course, got our hands messy with Oobleck—always a class favorite! 😂🙌

Our Bible stories for the week were Jesus Heals the Blind Man and The Paralyzed Man Who Was Lowered Through the Roof. ✝️❤️ These stories gave us the perfect opportunity to talk about how Jesus sees us, knows our needs, and cares for each one of us. We also learned about the faith of the friends who brought the paralyzed man to Jesus and how they didn't give up when they couldn't get through the door!

What a special way to wrap up our summer—using our senses to explore God's creation while learning more about His incredible love for us! 🌎✨

It’s that time of year again! We’re excited to kick off another year of One Way, a ministry of The Crossroads Community Church for children in 4K–5th grade! ❤️

One Way is all about helping kids grow in their faith, learn the “what” of the Bible, and discover what it means to know and follow Jesus—all while having fun, building friendships, and growing together! 🙏🎉

📅 EVERY WEDNESDAY, starts Wednesday, September 16th

Did you know that children birth through age 5 can receive a FREE book every month through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library?! 🎉📖

The program helps children build a love of reading by putting books directly into their hands—at no cost to families! What a wonderful way to encourage early literacy and create special reading moments together at home. 🥰

☀️🎒 What a way to end Summer Adventure! 🎒☀️

Last week was our FINAL week of Summer Adventure at CKC, and we definitely went out with a BANG! 🎉💦🍦

As we got ready to head back to school, our kiddos packed in ALL the fun! We had a special Kona Ice visit, while our older classrooms enjoyed a movie day, an ice cream party, dress-up days, and a WATER DAY! 🍧🎬🍦👗💦

It was the perfect way to wrap up a summer filled with field trips, adventures, friendships, laughter, and SO many memories! 💙 We are already a little sad to see summer go, but we are so excited for all the learning and fun a new school year will bring. 📚✏️

Our Bible story for the week was Jesus and the Little Children. ✝️❤️ We were reminded that Jesus loves children, welcomes them, and tells us that they are precious to Him. What a perfect message to carry with us as we begin a new school year!

Here's to an AMAZING summer at CKC! ☀️ We can't wait to see what this next season brings! 💛

🍧☀️ What a SWEET way to celebrate the end of summer! ☀️🍧

Yesterday was such a fun afternoon at CKC! Our kiddos had the BEST time picking out their favorite Kona Ice flavors and enjoying their delicious treats outside with their friends. 🌈🍧😋

There were plenty of smiles, colorful tongues, and happy kiddos as we soaked up one more summer afternoon together! 💙

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to visit the Kona Ice truck yesterday! We loved seeing our CKC families, friends, and community members and getting to celebrate the end of summer with you all! 🫶

What a sweet way to wrap up an amazing summer! ☀️🍧💛
