Another successful monthly Johnson Creek Food Pantry fundraiser at The Corner Bar. Cam comes from Columbus to support our food pantry. But he keeps winning. Come on out next month Johnson Creek residents. He also won the wheelbarrow and food item raffle.

$5 ticket or 4 tickets $10 or 10 tickets for $20.

Tickets sold and drawn at The Corner Bar in Johnson Creek, Sunday, May 17 between 12:30pm - 2:45pm. If you buy $20 or more of tickets, you don't even have to stop by to get your tickets. We will work with any local person to setup a time to exchange tickets and money. This service is available between now and Friday 8pm.

Johnson Creek Girl Scout Troop 3122 donated 12 cases of Girl Scout cookies to the Johnson Creek Helping Hands Food Pantry. They also received a tour of the pantry. Thank you for your generous donation.

May 9th is the Annual Postal Food Drive. Fill a bag, leave by your mailbox that morning. Food donations are kept local and will go to the Johnson Creek Helping Hands Food Pantry.

Items that are needed are: canned proteins (tuna/chicken/salmon), chunky soups, beef stew, canned fruit (pineapple/mandarin oranges) baking mixes (cakes, brownies). pasta and rice side dishes (Hamburger Helper/Rice a Roni), spaghetti sauce, saltine crackers.

El 9 de mayo se celebra la Colecta Anual de Alimentos del Servicio Postal. Llene una bolsa y déjela junto a su buzón esa mañana. Las donaciones de alimentos se destinan a la comunidad local y serán entregadas a la despensa de alimentos Johnson Creek Helping Hands.

Los artículos que se necesitan son: proteínas enlatadas (atún, pollo, salmón), sopas espesas, estofado de res, frutas enlatadas (piña, mandarinas), mezclas para repostería (pasteles, brownies), guarniciones de pasta y arroz (tipo Hamburger Helper o Rice-A-Roni), salsa para espagueti y galletas saladas.

Joining in is simple:

🚚 Your postal carrier will pick it up and deliver it to those in need

The monthly Texas Holdem fundraiser raised $325. Congratulations to the top two winners. Thank you CJ for the raffle basket and Dennis Rodenkirch for the wheelbarrow. Next fundraiser game May 17 at The Corner Bar.

Johnson Creek Food Pantry raffle basket and wheelbarrow ticket sale tomorrow, Sunday at "The Corner Bar" between 12:30 through 2pm. Basket has wooden carrying box, cheese puffs, pretzels,nuts, crackers, pork rinds, 6 wine glasses, bottle of wine, hand warmer, NRA coin, drink coozie, Tickets $1 each or 7 for $5.
