We are happy to welcome Nancy Flynn as our judge this year. Nancy is from NW Indiana where she raises sheep and hay and competes with her dogs in USBCHA.

We also want to thank the flock owners Paul and Carol Wagner of Hidden Valley Farm and Woolen Mill for letting us rent their sheep for the weekend. Hopefully some of you were able to check out their booth and saw the beautiful finished fiber from their sheep

This year's Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival's Crook and Whistle Stock Dog Trials, hosted by Jeff Seagar and his fiancée Samantha Jones, upheld tradition.

and that’s a wrap for this year. That was a lot of fun this weekend, with a pretty good learning curve. We’re looking forward to doing it again next year with some improvements. We just finished up all the cleanup and are headed home. Thank you to everyone who came and participated as well as thank you very much to everybody who took the time to help us out on both ends of the field.

And a huge thank you to everybody for the wonderful gift that you gave to us for our trip to Scotland next year.

Well, things definitely smooth out yesterday, and the runs started to seem to go a bit better. However, the Sheep still seem to be winning. It was a pretty rough go out there for most of the day. But definitely better than day one.

We would like to thank everybody that pitched in to Help as well as everyone that had suggestions to help make things go more smoothly. Both were very much appreciated.

And not to forget the most important part of the day, the wedding went off without a hitch. We were so happy to have all of you there to celebrate with us, and we would like to thank everyone for coming and sharing that moment with us. It was a great potluck dinner after the trial and we’d like to thank everybody who was there to witness the ceremony for their kind words and participation. And thank you so much to John Seraphine for performing the ceremony.

 And of course, thank you to Laferty for the amazing photographs.

Well, that didn’t go quite as smoothly as we had hoped, but we seem to get things worked out by the end of the day.

We will be starting early tomorrow, Saturday. Start time will be 6:30 AM and finishing open one, moving into nursery one and then pro novice one.

And Samantha and I would like to thank everyone who pitched in to help. We know it was a rough day for all of us, but we really appreciate your help…
