✨ Congrats to the Johns Creek High School Wind Ensemble for earning the 2025-2026 GMEA Exemplary Performance Award ✨
From the GMEA Handbook: “The Exemplary Performance Award is presented to middle and high school bands, choruses, and orchestras that achieve outstanding results in all areas of performance sponsored by the Georgia Music Educators Association. These areas include Large Group Performance Evaluation, Solo & Ensemble Performance Evaluation, All-State, and District Honor events. It is the most prestigious award available to middle and high school bands, choruses, and orchestras, and is selected by a committee that reviews recordings, evaluation sheets, participation in events, and individual student achievements for each nominated program.”
The band will be presented the Exemplary Performance Award at our upcoming Fall Concert in 2026. Thank you to all the students, staff, parents, and community members for supporting the Arts at Johns Creek High School!
