Cheryl Mainor started Shane's Crib as a ministry that grew out of MASA. History - Mothers against abuse (MASA) was founded after Cheryl's son Shane became addicted to drugs and alcohol. He was in and out of the court system, and his life spiraled out of control after the loss of his 16 month old son James to a tragic death. This tragedy intensified his drug use, and Shane passed away on August 03,

2007, from an accidental drug overdose. The mission here is to help others who are hurting and needing direction. God has inspired Cheryl through her son's death an her faith in God to go forward and establish a ministry for the addict and their loved ones. The Vision

We are committed to providing truths to women who suffer from chemical dependency. Their truths will be taught as they relate to the most basic of life issues., assisting women to becoming aware of God's power in their lives through the Holy Spirit. The Mission

To enable women to understand and accept Christ's forgiveness and acceptance through the study of God's Holy Word and 12-step Recovery Programs. A three strand cord is not quickly broken Ecclesiastes 4:12
