Family Hope Foundation helps create futures that are full of possibility.

We provide West Michigan families with access to therapies, resources, and events so children with disabilities can experience growth, independence, and bright futures. Our premise is simple: Each child deserves the chance to reach their highest potential! We believe in creating futures for children with disabilities that are full of potential and possibility. Family Hope Foundation is an established 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides West Michigan families access to therapies, resources, and events. There are no other organizations providing therapy scholarships and support for such a wide range of diagnoses! With our team and your help, children with disabilities can experience growth, independence, and bright futures.

Meet Camila - a fall 2026 therapy scholarship recipient!

"Receiving this scholarship means the world to my family and Camila. Camila has always loved horses, and she’s always wanted to ride. After her accident, we were not sure she would be able to, but she was cleared and Cheff Therapeutic Riding Center had a spot for her. Camilas experience has been amazing in helping Camila with her confidence and physical strength. She absolutely loves it and has a great time with everyone as she learns how to ride her favorite animal while also gaining strength in her body and mind, which has already helped Camila in many ways, physically and confidently." 💙💪

It’s estimated that 80% of disabilities are non-visible. This week is dedicated to shining a light on the unseen.

Just because you can’t see it doesn’t make it any less real.

Not every disability is visible. How we react to them is.

October is a huge disability awareness month. Here are just a few things October is:

• National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)
• Down Syndrome Awareness Month
• ADHD Awareness Month
• Blindness Awareness Month
• Spina Bifida Awareness Month
• Dyslexia Awareness Month
..and more! Within this month, there are several specific days that highlight these disabilities. For instance, today is World Mental Health Day!

Last week, Family Hope Foundation was able to personally mail out $48,000 in therapy scholarship funds! WOW!

And- we're not done. We'll finish sending the rest of our therapy scholarship funds out next week!
