“Some people have the opinion that adoption is wrong. That it’s not in the best interest of the child. They couldn't be more wrong. My parents adopted me as an infant. I am now 27 years old. I have met both my birth parents. I have a strained relationship with my birth mother. As long as I can remember she has been in and out of rehab more times than I can count. Were it not for my adoptive parents, I would have been in and out of foster care. How would that be better? People forget that blood does not make a good parent.
