Celebrating the 2026 Hope for Kids Dinner!

Thanks to our generous community, we’re grateful and humbled to share that we exceeded our fundraising goal! 🎉

What a blessing to gather together in support of West Michigan kids! The funds raised will help cover program costs throughout the school year as we serve students at 10 additional schools, bringing us to 293 schools across West Michigan.

It was a beautiful night centered on a simple but powerful mission: helping every child feel seen, loved, and fed.

Because when a child is seen, they know they matter. When they are loved, they know they belong. And when they are fed, they have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Thank you for making this possible and for being part of a community that shows up for kids, one backpack at a time.

This , we’re extra grateful for an amazing donation! These kiddos dropped off 450 snack packs for their Fall Service Project, and we could tell it wasn’t their first rodeo. Everything was counted, organized, and even separated by date. We love seeing kids get involved in our work, learn to serve, and discover that they can make a difference in the lives of other kids!

Meet Reed! He loves helping his mom, Kelsie, as she serves as a Hand2Hand coordinator at their church. One of his favorite parts? Riding along on the Hand2Hand cart.

Kelsie recently said yes to becoming a coordinator when her church needed someone to step in, and she’s already building her team with Reed as her very first helper!

Together, they’re serving students at Alto Elementary and Meadowlawn Elementary and showing us that you’re never too young to make a difference.

We love when the Leprino Foods team comes to Hand2Hand! This week, they packed food for kids and got to see their impact up close, including our new cargo van made possible in part by their generous support!

There’s something special about a business that doesn’t just give, but shows up, gets involved, and becomes part of the mission. We’re so grateful for Leprino Foods! 💙

When grocery prices go up, what food do families often have to cut first? The snacks.

But for a child, a snack can mean so much more than food.

One teacher shared the story of a girl in her class who wasn't able to bring a snack from home to enjoy at recess. One day, she reached into her Hand2Hand bag and pulled out a simple granola bar.

She beamed.

For the first time, she had a snack to enjoy alongside her classmates.

That little granola bar helped fill more than her tummy. It helped her feel included. It reminded her that someone saw her, cared about her, and wanted her to have what she needed to grow and thrive.

That’s why we include snacks alongside meals in every backpack.

Because sometimes, something as simple as a snack can make a child feel seen, loved, and like they belong.
