Friday, 2/13/26 didn't bring bad luck, it brought a gorgeous weather day and one of your most prolific flyers, Corbin Korte, of FourBrothers RC was out at the JC Parks Joseph Miller Memorial Park and JCRC Flying Field with his Extreme flight 67” slick 580 making it do things that just aren't normal! It's so awesome to see such talented pilots in our club flying beautiful airplanes. This may be a bit of a warm weather teaser, but we'll take it with the hope that the flying season has begun!

Attention Jefferson City Radio Control Club members, friends, family, and anyone interested in the radio control hobby. We are so thrilled to let you know about a new Hobby Shop right here in Jefferson City, Missouri! Hobby Pro Center is located at 2503 E. McCarty Street (65101). They offer all aspects of hobby products, including airplane products and like most any hobby shop today, they offer an even wider variety of RC surface vehicles and in this case it is truly unique due to their indoor carpet race track and crawler area. Check out these photos of the facility or much better, stop by in person to meet Kyle Harrison and let him know what products you might like to see him carry in the store, if it's not already there. 😎 Watch their page for race days and special events; on those days there is often great food being offered as well in the concession stand. Indoor carpet races alternate between On-Road/Oval & Off-Road every other week, and are typically held on Wednesdays & Saturdays.

The guys at FourBrothers RC continue to find ways to fly and be creative at the same time. 😎 Corbin is flying his Yak which is equipped with the KBar Lighting Systems wingtip light illumination system allowing for nighttime flying and then they used a time-exposure setting on their camera to come up with "RC Plane Art." 🤔 This particular image turned out nice because at one point you can see where the Yak shows up visible in the flight path. Can you spot the airplane? (Go look closely, then the read the rest of this if you need a hint 😜) If you imagine the image representing a giant "Q" in the sky, look at the tip of the stroke line of the "Q" and you'll see it there where the plane paused just long enough to make the exposure due to the great lighting system installed on the wingtips. 😄 Great job guys!

Merry Christmas from the Jefferson City Radio Control Club to you and all of yours.
