The budget passed by lawmakers restored $65,000 for family mental health services. Gov. Mike Kehoe has until July to keep or cut the funding.

Do you want to facilitate a support group for family members and close friends of loved ones living with mental illness?⭐️

Apply now to the NAMI Family Support Group Facilitator Training! This virtual training is for family members and close friends of individuals living with mental illness who would like to become certified to facilitate NAMI Family Support Groups. After successful completion of the training, facilitators will be certified to lead NAMI Family Support Group Meetings in-person or virtually.

🗓️Date: August 22-23, 2026 (Sat-Sun)
⏰Time: 9:00am-5:00pm CT (both days)
📍Location: Virtual via Zoom
👜Cost: FREE

The training is provided at no cost and is approved by the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB).

Training Prerequisite: Must attend 3 Family Support Group Meetings as a participant in order to qualify for this training.
