Join us on Sunday, August 30th, as we assemble care packages, write letters to PAIL survivors, and decorate our office! We’ll be gathering in the Fellowship Hall at FBC JeffCity at 3:30PM.

We’ll have all of the supplies we need, but if you’d like to add a personal touch to the boxes, feel free to bring a pair cozy socks (individually packaged), your fave body scrub, a candle, or some chocolate bars.

This is event is open to the public, and we hope to see members of the community in attendance! Help us show grieving families that they are seen and cared for 🫶

We hope to host volunteer days like this on a quarterly basis, so if you can’t make this event, follow us to stay updated on future dates!

Join us at JCPL on July 15th for a Meet & Greet and a reception celebrating our 1,000th care package milestone! Light refreshments will be served.

Heard + Held is having a meet & greet at the Jefferson City Public Library on July 15th from 4-5:30pm to connect with the community and spread information on what they do. Come out to connect with us -we can't wait to see you!

Their mission is to provide comfort and tangible support to those experiencing the grief of pregnancy and infant loss by providing care packages, community events, and educational resources to assist in the physical and emotional healing process.

Thank you to Jefferson City Christian Church for selecting Heard and Held as one of their microgrant recipients! And thank you to board member and JC3 member Rebecca Meyer for applying for this grant!

Because of the generosity of community members like JC3, we are able to provide care packages for pregnancy and infant loss survivors free of charge throughout Jefferson County, TN and beyond!

“We have nothing to give families who experience a loss. Can you send care packages to our medical center/clinic/church/business?”

The answer: YES!!

One of the reasons we started Heard + Held is because we believe families shouldn’t go home empty handed after experiencing pregnancy or infant loss. What if every church, hospital, OBGYN office, rural clinic, and ultrasound boutique had care packages on hand to send home with bereaved families?

One of our community partners told us that it means the world to be able to send her clients home with something tangible to remind them that they are not alone.

We are so grateful for the organizations we partner with who trust us to help care for the families they care for.

We love working with local makers and small businesses, especially those owned by parents who understand pregnancy and infant loss. These partnerships allow us to invest in our local community while also supporting families across the country who are walking through loss.
