Our 4th Special Needs Classroom is Open! ❤️✨

In our city’s poorest neighborhoods, children with special needs have long lived in the shadows. For families struggling just to survive, the life-changing medical care and therapy their children desperately needed were completely out of reach.

But the silence in one of our most vulnerable communities has finally been broken. 🕊️

Our 4th special needs classroom is officially open, and 10 incredible students are already inside. 🏫

For these 10 children, stepping into this room was the very first time in their lives they received the dedicated care they have always deserved. Children who spent years isolated are now receiving specialized physical therapy, behavioral exercises, and vital healthcare monitoring.

Against All Odds: Meet Areej ✨

Before Areej was even born, the odds were stacked against her. During a time of immense family hardship and heartbreak, her mother faced unimaginable struggles. Yet, against all circumstances, Areej was born—a resilient little soul determined to be here.

But her fight was just beginning. At only three months old, Areej battled meningitis, a severe illness that impacted her brain. As the years passed, her family noticed she wasn’t reaching her milestones. It wasn't until she was five years old, when she first began to speak a few words, that her family discovered the depth of her challenges: severe hearing loss, developmental delays, and weak eyesight. Later, doctors confirmed she faces multiple physical disabilities.

Through it all, love has kept this family going. After her father passed away when she was very young, her elder sister stepped up, working tirelessly to support both Areej and their resilient mother.

Two months ago, Areej’s story took a beautiful turn. She joined our center, and every single day since has been a step toward a brighter future. Through tailored therapies, specialized exercises, and behavioral development activities, Areej is learning, growing, and fighting for her independence.

She is a reminder that no matter how difficult the beginning, every child deserves a chance to thrive.

This is more than a wheelchair distribution trip.

It’s a reminder to hurting people that God remembers them.

At the end of this month, our team will travel to Kenya to provide wheelchairs and accessible equipment to individuals impacted by disability. Many recipients have never had the opportunity to move independently, attend school, participate in community life, or experience the dignity that accessibility can provide.

But even deeper than physical mobility is the message we hope each person hears:

You are not forgotten.
You are not cursed.
You are deeply loved by God.

Please pray that the love of Christ would permeate every moment of this mission — every chair delivered, every conversation shared, every prayer spoken.

Today, on 3.21, we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day — a day that reminds us of the beauty, strength, and uniqueness of every individual with Down syndrome.

At Created in His Image, we are especially honored to celebrate two incredible individuals: Moosa and Arisha 💙💛

Moosa brings so much joy and light wherever he goes. His smile is contagious, and his spirit is full of love and determination. He reminds us daily that every milestone matters and every moment is worth celebrating.

Arisha is a shining example of grace and resilience. Her kindness, laughter, and bright personality inspire everyone around her. She shows us that differences are not limitations — they are gifts.

Today and every day, we celebrate Moosa and Arisha for exactly who they are — wonderfully made, deeply loved, and truly created in His image.

Our Christmas tree tells a very special story—one painted by the hands and hearts of our incredible children! ❤️ For many, this was their first time decorating a tree, and it was made even more magical because they colored their very own ornaments to hang.

Watching them concentrate, choose colors, and proudly place their creations on the branches was a profound experience. Every hand-colored ornament is a testament to their creativity, fine motor skills, and the pure joy of making something beautiful for the holidays.

Beyond the art, we were so blessed to send every family home with essential groceries and personalized gifts, helping to ensure a stress-free Christmas. We believe every child deserves not just to celebrate, but to create.

Our Christmas tree is officially a work of art, thanks to our amazing children! For many, this was their very first time decorating, and they made it extra special by coloring their own unique ornaments to hang. 🎨

Seeing their pride and joy as they placed their creations on the tree was simply priceless.
