Meet Swera: A Journey of Resilience, Love, and Hope ✨

Every child brings a unique light into the world, and for the Dulla family, that light is 20-year-old Swera. As the youngest of five siblings, she has always been the baby of the family—deeply loved, and fiercely protected.

Swera’s journey hasn’t been easy. Her life changed at just six months old when she began suffering from sudden fits. After agonizing medical tests and a lack of answers, her worried parents had to make the tough choice to stop treatment. Then, at just two years old, a devastating fall from a roof left her needing major surgery for a fractured jaw.

Swera lives with a mental disorder that affects her understanding. She experiences intense emotions—getting hyper quickly, shouting, and holding onto a stubborn spirit. Physically, her small stature, hands, and feet remind everyone of how delicate she is.

But a beautiful new chapter has begun. 💙

Two months ago, Swera joined our class. Through daily therapies, specialized exercises, and learning activities, she is taking brave steps forward. Progress takes time, but her parents can finally breathe a sigh of relief, knowing their precious daughter is in safe, loving hands.

Welcome to Our 4th Special Needs Classroom!
For too long, in our city’s poorest neighborhoods, beautiful children with special needs have lived in the shadows. For families caught in a daily struggle just to survive, the life-changing medical care and therapy their children so desperately needed felt like a distant, impossible dream.
With tears of joy and hearts full of hope, we are thrilled to announce that our 4th special needs classroom is officially open! Ten incredible, resilient students have just stepped through our doors. For these ten children, walking into this room marked the very first time in their lives that they received the dedicated, specialized care they have always deserved.
Children who spent years isolated at home are now receiving customized physical therapy, behavioral exercises, and vital healthcare monitoring. Their worlds, which used to feel so small, have suddenly opened wide.
They are no longer hidden. They are no longer left behind. Today, they are seen, they are fiercely loved, and they are finally being given the chance to bloom.

Small Steps, Big Hope: Meet 6-Year-Old Vaneeza ✨
Every child deserves a chance to bloom, and little Vaneeza is fighting hard to do just that. Born to hardworking parents—her father a dedicated office peon and her mother a domestic worker—Vaneeza’s journey began with a severe challenge. During pregnancy, her mother suffered a fall that unfortunately caused damage to Vaneeza's developing brain.

Delivered at home via an emergency situation, Vaneeza began suffering from severe fits just three hours after birth. While doctors initially hoped she would outgrow the effects by age four, Vaneeza is now six, and her daily life remains an uphill battle. Though her fits have thankfully stopped, the neurological impact leaves her struggling with extreme frustration, stubbornness, and difficulty managing her emotions. Because she cannot yet feed herself or use the restroom independently, her devoted family gives her around-the-clock care.

Two months ago, Vaneeza’s story found a new ray of hope. She joined our center, where she receives specialized therapies, physical exercises, and behavioral learning activities designed just for her.

Her parents are so grateful to see their little girl in a safe, caring environment built to help her thrive. Change takes time, but with every therapy session, Vaneeza is taking steps toward a calmer, brighter future. 🕊️❤️

Against All Odds: Meet Areej ✨

Before Areej was even born, the odds were stacked against her. During a time of immense family hardship and heartbreak, her mother faced unimaginable struggles. Yet, against all circumstances, Areej was born—a resilient little soul determined to be here.

But her fight was just beginning. At only three months old, Areej battled meningitis, a severe illness that impacted her brain. As the years passed, her family noticed she wasn’t reaching her milestones. It wasn't until she was five years old, when she first began to speak a few words, that her family discovered the depth of her challenges: severe hearing loss, developmental delays, and weak eyesight. Later, doctors confirmed she faces multiple physical disabilities.

Through it all, love has kept this family going. After her father passed away when she was very young, her elder sister stepped up, working tirelessly to support both Areej and their resilient mother.

Two months ago, Areej’s story took a beautiful turn. She joined our center, and every single day since has been a step toward a brighter future. Through tailored therapies, specialized exercises, and behavioral development activities, Areej is learning, growing, and fighting for her independence.

She is a reminder that no matter how difficult the beginning, every child deserves a chance to thrive.

This is more than a wheelchair distribution trip.

It’s a reminder to hurting people that God remembers them.

At the end of this month, our team will travel to Kenya to provide wheelchairs and accessible equipment to individuals impacted by disability. Many recipients have never had the opportunity to move independently, attend school, participate in community life, or experience the dignity that accessibility can provide.

But even deeper than physical mobility is the message we hope each person hears:

You are not forgotten.
You are not cursed.
You are deeply loved by God.

Please pray that the love of Christ would permeate every moment of this mission — every chair delivered, every conversation shared, every prayer spoken.
