MeMe’s Closet was created to provide personal hygeine items to any student in need that goes to school in the Jefferson County school system.

It’s that time of year again… time to SPREAD THE LOVE ❤️
Do you have a friend, loved one, neighbor, teacher, business, or church you’d love to show a little extra appreciation to? Or maybe someone who could simply use a reminder that they are loved and valued. We have the perfect opportunity!
Throughout the month of February, we invite you to nominate individuals or businesses for our Spread the Love Campaign 💌
How does it work? ❓
1️⃣ Visit https://linktr.ee/isaiah117housejeffcotn and click the Spread the Love link.
2️⃣ Nominate the person you’d like to “Spread the Love” to (your Recipient) with a $50 donation made in their name.
3️⃣ We’ll take it from there, by placing hearts and Isaiah 117 House signs in their yard for 24 hours!

MeMe's Closet is celebrating its 1 year anniversary by partnering with Citizens National Bank to collect school supplies for Jefferson County students. 🎉 📝

Over the past year, MeMe's Closet has provided essential support to these students. We invite you to visit either location in Jefferson City to donate supplies until August 15th.

As this school year is quickly approaching MeMe’s closet if fully stocked and ready to serve your child needs. We have all hygiene items for boys and girls, underwear and socks for ALL ages and clothes for boys/gurls up to size kids 18.

Message me on what you need and we can arrange pick up.

As the school year is coming to an end and summer is just around the corner I want to remind everyone that MeMe’s closet is still available for kids that are in need. Please feel free to reach out to me in messenger if you know anyone that needs hygiene items or clothes while school is out.

FB friends, MeMe’s Closet will be accepting new sock donations for male and female from toddler to adult until the end of February. These socks will help any child in need that attends school in Jefferson Co. They can be dropped off at our CNB branch inside the Food City or next door at our traditional CNB branch in Jefferson City. Or I am happy to meet you!

So many kids come to school with NO socks on. ☹️ My hope is to change that.

As we enter into a new year I just want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all the generous people that have made MeMe’s Closet come to life in 2024.

It is my goal to help and reach more children in many different ways this year. Because of you, together we can make a difference in a child’s life.

MeMe’s Closet was able to assist a PTA group for a school in Jefferson Co that provided hygiene bags, new underwear,socks and some warm clothes for 7 girl and 5 boys.

Thankful always for the generosity of so many people that make a difference for a child in need.

Before the need for perfect, there was simple.
Oh, so completely simple.

A stable.
Wooden manger.
An exhausted new mother.
A terrified first-time father,
unsure of his fresh role.

Before the quest for the perfect holiday,
there was a journey.

A faithfully fearful passage.
Full of eager anticipation.
Following the guidance of an angel.
By the light of an unmistakable star.
Straight toward prophesied uncertainty.

Before the craziness and chaos of the holidays, there was undeniable peace.
Amidst the quiet darkness of a wooden
building meant for animals, not a King.
A baby's bed made of hay.
Respectful visitors, in awe of new life.
Rest, tranquility and anxious-filled quiet.

Before chasing the mirage of perfection crept into our lives...
..a grand tree..an expensively prepared holiday meal..hundreds-upon-thousands
of dollars spent on gifts..rushing from event-to-event;
from obligation-to-obligation..working overtime to ensure a faultless experience...
..there was imperfect.

Gorgeously uncertain and incredibly simple;
imperfect.

An imperfectly beautiful night that
granted each-and-every one of us
the greatest, most undeserving
Gift of all.

Unconditional.
Ever-forgiving.
All-encompassing.
Unlimited.
Life-everlasting.
Grace.

A lifetime of the most unmerited gift. Made possible by the sacrifice of a newborn baby. In the quiet stillness of a livestock stable. Under the majestic light of the North Star.

So humble.
So fearful.
So anticipated.
So serene.
So still.
So often forgotten.
So easy to remember.

Such a powerfully tranquil celebration.

Before the need for perfect, there was simple.

Happy heavenly birthday to the inspiration for MeMe’s closet, my momma, MaryAnn Orlando. If you knew her you knew her generosity not just to her family but to everyone she met.

She loved the song let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. I know she is at peace now. In honor of her today I ask my followers to be generous toward someone, expecting nothing in return.

Happy heavenly birthday momma, oh the celebration you are having with everyone….and that makes me smile.
