🎨🐾 DRAW FOR THE DOGS FUNDRAISER IS HERE! 🐾🎨

We have had people tell us our t-shirts are missing something, but that’s about to change! Want your artwork featured on the back of our next rescue t-shirt? Now’s your chance!

Starting today, June 26th, through July 3rd, we’re hosting our Draw for the Dogs fundraiser to support the animals of Seaside Animal Rescue.

Here’s how it works:
•Make a $10 donation to enter
•Create and submit your original drawing/design
•We will post each design as they are submitted
•Supporters can vote for their favorite by liking/reacting to the photos

Voting will remain open until July 3rd at 7PM!

The winning design will:
•Be featured on the back of our next rescue t-shirt
•Receive a FREE t-shirt

Not an artist? That’s okay! You can still participate by sending us a photo of your pet along with your $10 donation! If your photo is chosen, one of our artists will use your pet as inspiration to create a design for us.

This is your chance to honor your pet, show off your creativity, and help save lives at the same time.

Every entry helps provide food, vet care, vaccines, and second chances for animals in need.

We don’t make posts like this lightly, but right now we need to be honest, real, and raw…our rescue is struggling. At this moment, our bank account is in the negative. Every single day we fight to save lives. We pull dogs and cats that have nowhere else to go, we cover emergency vet bills, food, vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm treatment, and everything in between. We do it because these animals deserve a chance. But love alone doesn’t pay the bills. This year alone, we’ve saved hundreds of animals, and in just the last 45 days, we’ve stepped up over and over again to save lives that otherwise may not have made it out. With a local shelter closing for renovations and animals continuing to need us, we were carrying more than ever, but financially, we are at our breaking point. Once the shelter opened back up, animals started immediately pouring back in and we got right back to work. Being in the negative means we cannot continue saying “yes” without your help. If you’ve ever shared one of our posts, adopted from us, fostered, donated, or rooted for us — please consider helping today. No donation is too small. $5, $10, $20… it all adds up and keeps us going. Right now, your support means food in bowls, medical care for the sick, and a safe place for animals who have been failed before. We are exhausted. We are worried. But we are not giving up. A giant congratulations to Churro on finding his forever home! This tiny little guy stole hearts in our rescue! We are so happy to see him find his forever (plus he gets to stay close to his foster parents❤️)

🐾 Meet Dave 🐾

Dave is a 4 month old lab mix and already an amazing little pup! He weighs around 23 lbs currently and is full of personality!

Here’s what a foster has to say about Dave: “He's cuddly and affectionate and loves to play. About 22 pounds. He's curious and a scamp- loves to carry his toys into the backyard. Has never met a dog he doesn't like. We have 5 ranging in age from 1-14! Great with people. Not shy. Will be great with kids. Not really housebroken but will both sleep and rest in his crate easily so does not need to be monitored constantly.”

Looking for a wrinkly little sidekick? Meet Chuck, a 4-month-old Chinese Shar-Pei mix with the sweetest face and the softest brown coat. At just 23 lbs, Chuck is still growing and learning all about the world around him. This handsome boy is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, so he’s ready to find his forever family! Chuck is the perfect age to grow up with his people! Whether that’s adventures, cuddles on the couch, or learning all the good-boy basics. Like most puppies, he’ll need patience, training, and lots of love, but he’s worth every bit of it.
