The shooting of an individual by ICE in New York City, in the presence of their five-year-old child, is not disconnected from Long Island.
In Islip, our Town Board voted to renew ICE’s access to a municipal shooting range, helping provide the very infrastructure that enables these operations. They trained for this stuff in Islip.
These agents must be held accountable, and so must the governments that enable them.
