A life for skateboarders, scooter riders, BMX riders, roller skaters, etc. in the Town of Islip and neighboring towns is tough. Skaters struggle to find spots to participate in their sport. The closest skatepark to islip is 20 minutes away in copiague and the second closest is 35-40 minutes away in northport. Skaters in Islip would love to have a local skatepark. Not only will a local skatepark fulfill skaters needs but it will keep kids out of Trouble and give kids a safe place to hang out. Please support our petition to have a skatepark built in the Town of Islip.
