Our Ipswich High School French students recently returned from an unforgettable trip to France, where they explored Paris, Normandy, and beautiful French chateaus while representing Ipswich with pride. Along the way, they built lifelong memories, deepened their understanding of French culture and history, and made our community proud abroad. The Ipswich Education Foundation is honored to have helped support this incredible experience for our students.

The Teen Center is a place for Ipswich middle school students to go to and has become especially important for students who don't participate in extracurriculars after school. It's been growing, and we're proud to support it with a grant that will help fund workshops and snacks for students.

Digital arts students at the high school visited the art studio of renowned photographer Lou Jones. They met Lou, viewed his artwork, saw how a photo studio functions, and what it's like to run a small business as a professional photographer.

Charlie's experiences and leadership in sustainability classes and extracurricular programs through elementary to high school helped inspire him to pursue a degree in Finance with a focus on environmental sustainability.

IEF has helped fund modular, adjustable workstations and comfortable seating to accommodate diverse learning and group configurations for the high school special education classrooms. The space will foster focus, communication, and emotional well-being while allowing for transitions between small-group instruction, independent work, and community-building circles.

A grant from the Carolyn Davis Fund through IEF supported a Winthrop teacher's professional development to complete her Wilson Reading System Level I Certificate Practicum. The training focuses on evidence-based strategies to support students with dyslexia and reading difficulties.
