BIG NEWS FOR IONIA COUNTY

We’re excited to announce that the Ionia Community Holiday Hut, along with Brandy and John Murray, will be completing training this September to help bring the Toys for Tots program back to Ionia County.

Our goal is simple: work alongside other local groups to help cover the entire county and make sure no child goes without this holiday season.

We know it’s early, but we’re excited and getting a head start.

As our very first season of the Ionia Community Holiday Hut comes to a close, we just want to say THANK YOU ❤️

What began as a simple idea turned into something truly special because of this community. From families who stopped by, to volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who supported us along the way—you helped make this season a success 🎅☕📸

For a first year, we are incredibly proud. We learned a lot, we took notes, and we already have big plans and improvements in mind as we look ahead to the 2026 season 🎁❄️ We’re excited to keep growing this and see where this new adventure takes us.

Due to the icy conditions and the weather we will be canceling Santa for the evening. We will be preparing for Santa tomorrow 1-4pm. 🎅

Today’s the BIG DAY!!!! 🎅

The Ionia Community Holiday Hut is a free service created for the community to enjoy. Families are welcome to visit during various holidays and capture special photos with Santa, the Easter Bunny, and more.

This project is entirely volunteer-run and supported through community donations. The Holiday Hut was thoughtfully planned and brought to life by John and Brandy Murray, who wanted to offer families a cheerful and cost-free place to make lasting holiday memories.
