When signing up to volunteer for the Downtown Garden City Chili Cook-Off Community Festival, please make sure to put "Inspire Inkster" down as your nonprofit of choice. If you put down any of the names of our programs down as your nonprofit, we won't receive a donation from your volunteer hours. If your child's first day of school was today, we hope they had a great day! Some of our scouts are really dedicated to their activities and kept up on scout meetings even with the first week of school on the horizon. We had a meeting with Scout Troop 1241 Garden City, MI, and Troop 499 scouts are also hard at work organizing their camping gear and making plans for their next set of meetings!

Inkster Cub Scouts: We have the annual scouting calendar, event details, announcements, and more being posted in our private Facebook and GroupMe communication channels. Our nonprofit has grown to the point where it is difficult to individually call or text Cub Scout families who are not using these communication options. Please make sure you have joined at least one, preferably both, and are responsive to messages so that we can make sure that your child can continue to participate in our programs and activities.
