Inkster, it’s time to PAINT THE CITY PINK! 💗

This October, we’re coming together for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and raise awareness as one community.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to decorate their homes, storefronts, porches and properties in pink all month long, and we have several community events planned throughout October:

🩷October 5: 7 PM — City Council Celebration honoring families impacted by breast cancer at the Inkster Rec Complex

🩷October 9 | 6–9 PM — Together We Stride 5K Glow Walk at Inkster Valley Golf Course. Walk, run, form a team and join us — this event is open to everyone, not just Inkster residents!

🩷October 16 | 6–9 PM — Pink Pajama Party for Adults at the Inkster Rec Complex

🩷October 23 | 6 PM — Pink or Treat at 26091 Trowbridge St. Bring the family, wear pink and enjoy a Halloween celebration with the community.
