Coachella Valley Rescue Mission Since 1971, Coachella Valley Rescue Mission has been an oasis & a place of refuge for the displaced and needy in our valley. Core Program Purposes

Vision Statement

As ministers of reconciliation, we are to facilitate the reconciliation of men and women to God, to themselves, and to society. Those in need of recovery due to loss of job, home, health, emotional, mental or spiritual support, or physical or substance abuse find themselves drawn to our ministry. We are to facilitate that reconciliation through the available means of this Mission

, i.e. food, clothing, shelter, counseling and discipleship. Through these modalities we pave the way for them to be reconciled. Continue the work of Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, and serving the spiritual and physical needs of the disadvantaged.
2. Provide for the emergency needs of the impoverished and destitute of the Coachella Valley through shelter and food services, rehabilitation programs, spiritually-based counseling, education, job skills, and transitional living.
3. Inform and involve the public in caring for the needy.

💙🚐 Today, the CVRM Street Outreach Team traveled to Desert Hot Springs to serve individuals experiencing homelessness by distributing Grace-to-Go bags, bottled water, clothing, and information about the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission's overnight shelter, daily cooling center, and recovery programs.

Throughout the day, the team connected with 16 men and women facing significant challenges and offered not only practical resources but also encouragement, compassion, and hope. 🙏

During every interaction, we shared the message that strength can be found through Jesus Christ, even during life's most difficult seasons. We reminded those we met that recovery is possible, healing is attainable, and no situation is beyond God's power to restore. Through faith, perseverance, and the support available through the Mission, there is hope for a future built on sobriety, stability, and renewed purpose. ✨

With compassion, dedication, and persistence, the Outreach Team remains committed to serving our community and helping individuals take steps toward a brighter future.

💙🚐 This week, the CVRM Street Outreach Team served unhoused individuals throughout Mecca, Thermal, Coachella, and Indio, providing food, water, and essential supplies to 18 individuals in need. 🥤🥫🧥

Every interaction was an opportunity to offer more than resources—it was a chance to share encouragement, compassion, and hope. ❤️

Throughout the day, our team spoke with individuals about the possibility of a new beginning through sobriety, stability, and the life-changing programs available at Coachella Valley Rescue Mission. 🙏 We shared the message that a life off the streets, supported by guidance, accountability, and community, is possible.

The Outreach Team remains committed to walking alongside those in need, helping connect them with resources and opportunities that can lead to lasting transformation and a brighter future. ✨🏠

💙🚐 HOPE IN ACTION IN CATHEDRAL CITY 🚐💙

Today, the CVRM Street Outreach Team served 12 individuals experiencing homelessness throughout Cathedral City, providing Grace-to-Go bags, food, clothing, cold bottled water, and other essential supplies. 🥤👕🍎

With compassion and consistency, our team worked to meet immediate needs while offering encouragement, support, and meaningful connections. Throughout the day, we shared the importance of self-worth, gratitude, and the hope that comes through a life of sobriety. 🙏✨

We reminded those we encountered that even small steps—choosing gratitude, accepting support, and believing in their own value—can lead to lasting change and a brighter future. Every conversation serves as an opportunity to share available resources and demonstrate that help is real, accessible, and available.

Each interaction plants a seed of hope. 🌱 Through kindness, encouragement, and faith, we continue helping individuals take steps toward stability, healing, and transformation.

🎉🏡 CELEBRATING PAMELA'S SUCCESS! 🏡🎉

The CVRM Housing Team is thrilled to announce that Women's Program client Pamela has successfully moved into her very own 1-bedroom apartment! 🔑✨

After experiencing a long history of homelessness, this milestone represents an incredible achievement and a fresh new chapter in Pam's life. ❤️

During her time in the program, Pam served faithfully as our Janitorial Lead, earning the respect and admiration of both staff and peers. She is hardworking, dedicated, and truly loved by those around her. 🌟

Today, Pam is employed 💼, owns her own vehicle 🚗, and continues working toward her goals with determination and confidence. We couldn't be more proud of all she has accomplished!

A special thank you to our amazing Kitchen Team, Thrift Store Team, and Administrative Staff for helping make this transition extra special by providing food boxes, furniture, and a welcome basket. 🧺🛋️🥫 Your kindness and support helped turn an apartment into a home. 🏠💕
