Coachella Valley Rescue Mission Since 1971, Coachella Valley Rescue Mission has been an oasis & a place of refuge for the displaced and needy in our valley. Core Program Purposes

1.

Vision Statement

As ministers of reconciliation, we are to facilitate the reconciliation of men and women to God, to themselves, and to society. Those in need of recovery due to loss of job, home, health, emotional, mental or spiritual support, or physical or substance abuse find themselves drawn to our ministry. We are to facilitate that reconciliation through the available means of this Mission

, i.e. food, clothing, shelter, counseling and discipleship. Through these modalities we pave the way for them to be reconciled. Continue the work of Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, and serving the spiritual and physical needs of the disadvantaged.
2. Provide for the emergency needs of the impoverished and destitute of the Coachella Valley through shelter and food services, rehabilitation programs, spiritually-based counseling, education, job skills, and transitional living.
3. Inform and involve the public in caring for the needy.

🙏 Friday Outreach | Trinity Baptist Church – Indio

This past Friday, the CVRM Street Outreach Team continued its commitment to meeting individuals where they are through our biweekly collaboration with Trinity Baptist Church in Indio. Together, we provide compassionate support, essential resources, and pathways toward greater stability for individuals experiencing homelessness. ❤️

🍽️ Trinity Baptist Church provided warm meals and fellowship, while CVRM offered emergency resources, supportive conversations, and access to our mobile shower unit. Our team also shared information with every guest about CVRM’s overnight emergency shelter and comprehensive long-term programs focused on sobriety, recovery, housing stability, and life transformation.

🚐 During the event, our Street Outreach Team canvassed the surrounding area to connect with individuals, inform them about available services, and provide transportation to the event for those who wanted to attend.

This outreach resulted in:
✨ 7 guests receiving assistance
🚿 3 individuals utilizing the mobile showers

Partnerships like this demonstrate the power of our community and faith-based organizations working together. Through compassionate, hands-on service, we continue building relationships, restoring dignity, and reminding those we encounter that hope and help are available. 🙏💙

💙 Street Outreach | Desert Hot Springs & Thousand Palms 💙

The CVRM Street Outreach Team connected with 11 individuals experiencing homelessness throughout Desert Hot Springs and Thousand Palms, meeting them where they are with compassion, dignity, and hope. 🤝

The team provided Grace-to-Go bags, clothing, hygiene supplies, and information about CVRM’s available resources and programs. Each interaction was an opportunity to listen, build trust, offer encouragement, and remind individuals that support is available when they are ready to take the next step. 🙏

Throughout the day, our team shared messages of hope, positive change, sobriety, and renewed purpose, encouraging individuals to consider the structured programs and supportive services available through CVRM. ❤️

Street outreach is about more than providing immediate necessities—it’s about showing up consistently, building relationships, and planting seeds of hope. 🌱 Every conversation has the potential to open a door toward healing, stability, recovery, and lasting transformation.

Today, we’re celebrating 12 years of dedication and service from our Kitchen Manager, Erin! 👏🍽️❤️

For more than a decade, Erin has played an important role in helping CVRM serve our community, ensuring that meals are prepared with care and that our kitchen continues to be a place where nourishment, compassion, and hope are served every day.
