ππ Today, the CVRM Street Outreach Team traveled to Desert Hot Springs to serve individuals experiencing homelessness by distributing Grace-to-Go bags, bottled water, clothing, and information about the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission's overnight shelter, daily cooling center, and recovery programs.
Throughout the day, the team connected with 16 men and women facing significant challenges and offered not only practical resources but also encouragement, compassion, and hope. π
During every interaction, we shared the message that strength can be found through Jesus Christ, even during life's most difficult seasons. We reminded those we met that recovery is possible, healing is attainable, and no situation is beyond God's power to restore. Through faith, perseverance, and the support available through the Mission, there is hope for a future built on sobriety, stability, and renewed purpose. β¨
With compassion, dedication, and persistence, the Outreach Team remains committed to serving our community and helping individuals take steps toward a brighter future.
"As always, these efforts reflect CVRM's mission: To serve those in need by sharing the saving grace of Jesus Christ through the provision of food, shelter, clothing, and spiritual recovery." β€οΈ
