Dear Diamondback Community,

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the closing of DRA Parent Teacher Organization. Our group will not be returning for the 2023/24 school year and will officially close down. We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to all of our volunteers and those who supported our efforts throughout the years of service. We wish everyone at DRA continued success and a positive year, it has been a pleasure to be a part of it thus far.

Incoming freshmen interested in joining athletics must attend orientation on May 15th at 5 pm.

El departamento atlético de la escuela Shadow Hills invita a todos los estudiantes que gusten participar en deportes durante el año escolar 2023-2024 a obtener el examen físico requerido para poder participar. El costo es solamente $20 por atleta y se llevará a cabo en el gimnasio de la escuela Shadow Hills el jueves 18 de Mayo de las 5-7pm. !Esperamos verlos!

This Monday marks the first day of CAASPP Testing at DRA. As parents we may not always recognize the importance of these dates for our students and school. PTO was proud to answer the call to ensure our students are well prepared and every child has the opportunity to receive a balanced snack throughout the next two weeks. This donation adds to the brain power and is a proven promotion of focus and energy during testing.

Also, a huge THANK YOU to FIND Food Bank, Walmart, and Cardenas for their partnership! Over 5 pallets of non perishables were donated! We could not do it without our local businesses and their commitment to our local schools.

Lastly, THANK YOU to our volunteers! Parents and grandparents alike came together to pick up, deliver, and more. As they say, it takes a village!

DRA Diamondbacks,

Desert Ridge Academy will offer a summer school session from June 6th to June 22nd from 8:00-12:30. There is no summer school on Monday, June 19th.

Breakfast and a nutritional snack will be provided and transportation is available.

Space is limited, please complete the summer school registration by Tuesday, May 2nd at 4:00 pm. Summer School Application - Click Here
