Aaron spent time at the Statehouse connecting with attendees and other organizations while sharing more about RIPEA and the work we do for Indiana’s retired public employees.

Before making decisions, take time to ask important questions about your doctors, prescriptions, costs and whether your needs have changed.

Important Medicare update for RIPEA members:

Some people enrolled in Original Medicare Part B may receive a one-time $90 rebate this October to help offset their October 2026 premium.

To qualify, you generally must:
• Be enrolled in Original Medicare Part B and live in the U.S.
• Not have your Part B premium paid by Medicaid
• Not pay an additional premium due to higher income, known as IRMAA

Please note: Medicare Advantage members are not eligible for this rebate.

Most eligible individuals should receive the payment by direct deposit around October 8. Those without direct deposit should receive a paper check later in October.

Have questions about your eligibility? Call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227). Beginning October 15, you can call Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 to check the status of your payment.

RIPEA was glad to be represented at the Annual Meeting of the Judicial Conference of Indiana in French Lick.

This event brings judicial officers from across the state together for continuing education, connection and important conversations about pay, benefits and resources available through the State of Indiana.

Thank you to Bethiah and Desiree for being there and helping share RIPEA’s support with Indiana’s judicial community. We were also grateful to have our Anthem account managers, Megan and Jenny, pictured with us and available to speak about RIPEA’s insurance offerings.
