The Junior Women’s Civic Club (JWCC) is proud to announce a $13,000 donation, along with 1140 pounds of food, to the Indiana County Community Action Program (ICCAP), continuing the organization’s long-standing commitment to community service and charitable giving.
The mission of JWCC is to provide community service, promote educational opportunities, advancement of the arts, and improve social well-being within the community. For 90 years, JWCC has proudly served the Indiana community through volunteerism, philanthropy, and support of local organizations, making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.
ICCAP works to empower families and individuals toward self-sufficiency through a variety of essential programs and services, including food assistance, housing support, and the Power Pack program, which provides nutritious weekend meals to children throughout Indiana County.
Funds for the donation were raised at JWCC’s 29th Annual Spring Luncheon and Basket Raffle and through the annual gift-wrapping event at the Indiana Mall. Proceeds from the event directly benefit ICCAP and the many individuals and families who rely on its services.
JWCC is proud to support ICCAP and the important work they do throughout Indiana County.JWCC members are grateful to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make this year’s fundraiser such a success.
