Our Meet & Greet Event is happening TOMORROW, and we are so excited to welcome everyone to Indiana Senior High School from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM! 🧡

Registration officially closed on June 8th, and we want to thank everyone who registered to attend. We can’t wait to bring our community together for an evening focused on connection, understanding, and positive interactions with first responders and emergency personnel.

A special thank you to all the departments, organizations, and volunteers who have committed their time to making this event possible. Your support means so much to our community!

Indiana Meet & Greet ANNOUNCEMENT for June 18th at the Indiana High School. This event is RAIN OR SHINE!! We have the capacity to use the cafeteria and the gym if needed. We will make an announcement that day by 11 am if there are severe storms or warnings that require cancellation. Follow us or stay tuned to our page that day for any announcements!!! 🚓🚑🚒 JUST A FEW DAYS AWAY! ✨

Our Meet & Greet Event is happening on June 18th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Indiana Senior High School, and we are so excited to bring our community together for this meaningful event! 🧡

This event was created to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers the opportunity to connect with first responders, law enforcement, EMS, and emergency personnel in a welcoming and positive environment before a crisis situation occurs.

📌 Activities may include:
• Jaws of Life Demonstration
• Firefighter Walk-Through Demonstration
• Conemaugh Hospital Helicopter
• Emergency vehicles and first responder equipment
• K-9 Units

⚠️ Please note: some activities may involve loud noises and flashing/bright lights.

We would like to give a very special THANK YOU to the United Way of Indiana County 2025 Summer Grant for helping support our upcoming Indiana Meet & Greet Event! 🧡

Through their funding, we have been able to continue building an event focused on inclusion, connection, safety, and positive community interactions for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers.

Support like this helps make meaningful opportunities possible — bringing together families, first responders, law enforcement, EMS, and community partners in a welcoming environment where relationships and understanding can grow.

🍴☀️ Spirit of Food – Summer 2026 registration is officially OPEN! ☀️🍴

Join The Arc of Indiana County and our cook, Sandra Toy for a fun summer cooking experience designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Participants will enjoy hands-on cooking, a farmers market trip, and a fresh food box to take home!

👥 Space is limited to 15 participants per class. Once classes are full, participants will be placed on a waiting list.

• August 13, 2026 (Registration deadline: August 3)
