There’s still time to make a difference in the life of a child this school year! 📚❤️

Whiz Kids kicks off September 17, and we’re still looking for volunteers to join us! Whether you can commit to mentoring the same student each week, serve as a substitute tutor, or help with snacks and dinner, there’s a place for you.

You don’t need teaching experience—we provide the training, curriculum, and supplies. You simply need a willing heart and a little time each Thursday. ❤️

One afternoon a week can make a lasting difference in the life of a child. 📚💛

We’re looking for volunteers to join Whiz Kids for the 2026–2027 school year! Mentors are paired with the same student each week, helping them strengthen their reading skills while building a consistent, encouraging relationship with an adult who shows up for them.

📅 September 17, 2026 – April 1, 2027
⏰ Thursdays | 3:45–6:00 PM

You don’t need teaching experience. Training, curriculum, and weekly supplies are all provided. If you can read and are willing to consistently show up for a student, you can make an impact.

Not able to commit every week? We also need substitute tutors and volunteers to help with snacks and dinner!
