We’re officially ONE MONTH into another year of Whiz Kids! 🎉📚

Every Thursday, Beechgrove Elementary fills with students and mentors spending time together, working on schoolwork, building confidence, and creating relationships that matter.

One month in, we’re excited to share:
📚 13 students enrolled
💛 16 mentors showing up each week

But these numbers represent so much more than an after-school program. They represent students who have someone in their corner, mentors who choose to show up week after week, and relationships that will continue growing throughout the school year.

We’re so thankful for everyone who makes Whiz Kids possible — and we can’t wait to see what the rest of this year holds! 🌱

Maybe you’ve connected with GROW. Maybe you’ve driven past Generations Church. Maybe you’ve thought about coming on a Sunday but haven’t quite made it through the doors yet.

Consider this your invitation. 🤍

Starting tomorrow, Generations Church is moving to TWO Sunday services — 9:00 AM + 10:30 AM — and that means even more room for new people and families to come experience Generations for themselves.

You don’t have to know anyone. You don’t have to know what to expect. You don’t have to have everything figured out.

Hunger Action Month may be coming to an end, but hunger doesn’t follow a calendar. 🧡

The need for food, support, and community doesn’t disappear when September does — and neither does our commitment to our neighbors.

So when October comes, we’ll keep showing up.
In November, we’ll keep showing up.
In December, we’ll keep showing up.
And in every month that follows, we’ll keep showing up.

Because caring for our neighbors isn’t something we do for one month. It’s who we want to be all year long. 🤍

For too many families, the grocery budget isn't just competing with wants — it's competing with other necessities.

Food or rent?
Food or medicine?
Food or gas?
Food or childcare?
Food or keeping the lights on?

These aren't choices anyone should have to make.

This Hunger Action Month, we're shining a light on the reality that food insecurity can mean constantly trying to stretch limited resources across needs that are ALL important.

That's why access to food matters. When a family has help putting food on the table, it can create a little more room for everything else life requires. 🧡

We’re so excited to share that GROW Network has been selected as one of 100 nonprofits across North America to receive a 2026 Community Impact Award! 🎉

This recognition includes a $5,000 grant to help us continue advancing our mission and expanding opportunities for individuals and families throughout Northern Kentucky.

At GROW Network, our mission is to come alongside our neighbors by meeting practical needs, building meaningful relationships, and connecting people with resources that help individuals and families thrive. This support will help us continue that work in our community, including providing food and essential resources to families experiencing food insecurity.

The Community Impact Awards recognize local organizations making a meaningful difference every day. We’re honored to stand alongside organizations across the U.S. and Canada working to strengthen their communities.

Saturday was about groceries — but it was also about so much more. 💚

It was neighbors welcoming neighbors. Volunteers giving their time. Conversations, connections, and a community making sure families know they don’t have to navigate hard seasons alone.

Every third Saturday, we get to see what can happen when a community shows up for one another.

Thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday possible!
