UPDATE: According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, 51y/o Maurice Parms has been charged with the first degree murder of 15y/o Ja’Derrius Minnieweather, despite a body not being found. “Evidence suggest that Minnieweather was beaten to death and that his body was disposed of after the attack.”

He told an employee that he wanted to ride the bus and visit friends and told family members he was riding a bus and looking for work. Investigators are attempting to verify his movements and contacts after he left the senior living center. He is in need of his daily medication as he has a traumatic brain injury.
