The Mesquite Police Department and Animal Control Division want to say thank you for the overwhelming support that has been shown to our Animal Shelter. We are well stocked with supplies and food. If you were thinking about buying something for our animals, please consider a monetary donation instead as the cost to medicate and prepare these dogs for adoptions will continue to add up. We have created a QR Code for your convenience. This will also be posted in the lobbies at the Mesquite Police Department and at the Mesquite Animal Shelter.

Everyone meet Tigger!

He may be shy and timid when you first meet him, so you'll need to give him a little time and attention to win him over. He is so lovable it's worth it! Every time Tigger comes to daycare he gets a little more confident and comfortable and he has made some really great puppy friends here at ZCC. The more we learn about him we feel he would prefer a soft quiet place to call his own, other dogs are fine so long as they aren't too wild. If you or someone you know is looking for the best little companion contact us or BAM to get more information.

Tigger got a couple extra days at daycare in May gifted to him from his daycare best friend. He says thanks ☺️

Thank you and daycare sponsors for helping the rescue pups get some play time. It makes such a difference for them to get out of the kennels for a special outing.

Need a little Pooh Bear sidekick like Winnie? She's so small, she'll fit in your pocket...or your heart! 🐻

🐾Winnie is young, somewhere between 1-3 years old but is an old soul at heart. She prefers a nice comfy lap to adventures in the great outdoors. Her knees bother her a little bit, so she likes to take it slow. Don't be fooled, this quirky girl is still full of little zoomies and curiosity as long as she can process and go at her own pace.

✨Come meet Winnie and all her other adoptable friends at our upcoming 20th anniversary celebration! We will be doing a pop-up market with at the Hurricane Rec Center Friday May 22nd from 10-4pm.
