Story of my life! 🎶 My kids will tell you this is exactly how it feels to have their Dad belting out all the hymns, and it’s like this author has been on vacation with us, when heads turn to see who that stranger is singing so loudly. 😆 Keep singing, men! You’re proclaiming the gospel to your families and to the world. Like WOV 781 says, “Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth, how can I keep from singing?”

Getting ready for the parade! 🚓 🏎️ 🐪 🚒 🏃‍♂️

The Howard Lake Good Neighbor Days Parade is June 28, and once again St. John’s members have a special invitation! We need people to ride on the wagon throwing candy, and people to walk alongside handing out VBS/Music Camp invitations. 🍬🍬🍬 We’ll meet at 1:30 PM at the Wright County Fairgrounds.

Before the parade, the whole congregation is invited for a cookout! 🌭🌭🌭 At 11 AM, the Social Committee is serving hot dogs, chips, and salad. You’re invited to bring bars or cookies; there’s a sign-up on the narthex table. If you’re not riding on the wagon, you can stay and watch the parade from the church lawn…just bring a lawn chair! 😎

This is your chance to wear your St. John’s T-shirts and hats! Wear them to church that morning and in the parade to represent St. John's! It’s going to be a fun day! 😎
